Why do they make me feel this way????
by loosie ini finally got in contact with the overseer from my mom's congregation in ca, (i am in ks).
i wanted to let him know how to contact me in case she becomes ill or worse.
he called me back after i left a message for him.

I used to feel this way when I met Policemen, even if I hadnt done anything wrong, maybe because I was a bit naughty as a child, but we have learnt to view them as figures of authority that have power and control over us.
Now its the same with Elders, how many years have we been indoctrinated to view these men as human vessels of God will and his wrath?, you are not going to be able to undo that brainwashing right away.

Dragons? What Dragons?

to try and perhaps help "calm" some of the rhetoric and propaganda on the board lately regarding what i've posted as to the apperance of spirit being, the following are links to threads/posts that contain some information regarding their appearance and nature.
for those who haven't read of such before, they are not "men", as in human... nor do they appear as human unless they put on the appearance of an "able-bodied" (vs. disabled) man.

Now I though that the term Dragon, was just a name that people used to give to what we now call dinosaurs, hense the legends such as George and the Dragon that if happened today we might call George and the Dinosaur if such creatures where not extinct.
I read some old English newspapers from the 18th century which had an article about a "dragon" that was a nuisance to a local village in that it would dig up and eat freshly buried corpses.
Is it possible that there are therefore in effect, two types of dragons?, literal flesh and blood creatures that have pretty much disappeared notwithstanding reports from the Likouala swamps in Africa where such creatures are still encountered, and Spiritual beings that have chosen to represent themselves in the manner of what must be the most awe inspiring of Gods fleshly creations?

Not to cause offence, but I am somehow amazed that people who must have spent much of thier lives being indoctrinated in the belief of a coming Satanic / AntiChrist / Christian persecuting / Global government, should so quickly forget and reject that knowledge when its put before there eyes and coming to pass, and dont worry, just because the Bibles prophetic, doesnt mean the Watchtower is right.
So, if you can see the above picture I posted, its a screenshot I think from when they where playing this song, you will see the Phoenix which is an occultic Masonic symbol of Satan, rising from the fire which represents the chaos and destruction these people will visit upon the Earth in order for thier god to look like the good guy when he ushers in his 42 months of Satanic rule.
In the background you can see the seats coloured and arranged to show a row of inverted crosses.
Above that you have the repeating symbol of the "New World Order" as found on the back of the dollar and mentioned in the Islamic Hadiths as being the mark of the dajin or anti-christ, the single eye in the pyramid, the eye of Horus or Satan, the eye of the god of this coming rulership of the Beast.
And all the while John Lennon is singing about how wonderfull the world will be all united with no Christian God or religion.
No wonder it was found to be a "Spiritual awakening" for that is exactly what it was intended to be :-Revelation 13 v 8 "And all that dwell on the Earth shall worship him".
Not meaning to be rude to you guys though I expect to recieve such back, but from concern, you should know and be expecting to be decieved into worshipping a Global government manufactured and run by Satanists, I can understand you rejecting the notion along with rejection of the JWs and then even the Bible, but open your eyes, see it starting to come about, and wonder.
I work in government, I have had it personally confirmed that a United global government is the goal, just as it states in Revelation, please dont be conned into submitting to it just because of a catchy song and a few pretty lights.
You thought life in the JWs was bad, just wait to see what they have in store for you, read 1984 or something!

I remember a cartoon from the 1% Motorcyle magazine "EasyRiders".
Had this anthropologist gleefully emerging from a cave with this very primitive looking skull announcing, "Look!, Ive found the missing link"
Behind him however, his perplexed looking colleague is emerging holding a Harley Davidson petrol tank.
Wish Id cut that out and kept it, whilst not exactly out of the mouth of babes.

Why not just accuse them of being Apostates?
Show them the scriptures from thier Bible where it plainly states to "Abstain from blood", then accuse them of twisting scripture so they wouldnt have to follow Gods commandments, then make them feel really bad by reminding them of all the JW babies that died due to thier faithfullness to Jehovah and his written word and ask them why they no longer consider the word of God absolute.

by Wayward Son inaccording to wikipedias definition (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/hate_group), a hate group is an organized group or movement whose primary purpose is to promote animosity, hatred, hostility or violence toward members of a race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, etc.... the southern poverty law center explains that inclusion of a group in the list does not imply a group advocates or engages in violence or other criminal activity.. under the category of religious hate groups, westboro baptist church was cited for promoting hatred toward homosexuals.
creativity movement and aryan nation were mentioned as promoting racial hatred.. is it a stretch to categorize the watchtowers rhetoric toward apostates as that of a hate group?
keeping in mind that promoting or engaging in violence is not required to be identified as a hate group, does the constant degradation of other religious philosophies, organizations and adherents constitute hate speech?

Same for me mostly, I use Firefox and I get a notice saying I cannot copy and paste, but I have found a limited trick, If I copy and paste into the post a reply box before I strart typing my message, I usually get away with it the once, thats how I did your quote, now if I try it again:-
nothing, I get the grey box up telling me its not allowed.
So what I sometimes do, compose your message elsewhere, even on an e-mail page, put in all the links you want, then copy the whole lot and just paste it here.

just need encouraging words... elders came over and breifly stopped by to encourage me back to hall
by Butterflyleia85 inwell i was kinda cut of gaurd when i saw them.
it was the two elders from the local congregation.
they said they just wanted to come over for encouragement to come back to the meetingsm one of the elders i knew me sence i was a baby and saw my son in my arms and asked how old he was.

Your feelings possibly included guilt and fear of man, which is understandable because they drummed it into us to have this fear of man, to allways be on your best JW behaviour when in thier company incase they realised you where just a Human Being.
But no need to fear, as you know, God is with you, that proves them to be wrong, not you, they would say God wont touch you with a barge pole, yet God is with you, so you know they are wrong and therefore not superfine apostles to be heald in awe and dread.
Be confident in your stand that you are now closer to God than is possible when you filter him through a self proclaimed priesthood.

Would you ever go back for the fake friends ?

i had a lot of people leave my side three years ago; because some of my "phony homies" began to listen to my ex-finance spreading rumors about me and my family.
so to make a long story short i lost a lot of "friends" from my old way of life, but i picked up some true homies , and reconnected with a true homie in the long run.. i just had to ask that question because some of us were popular while we were in or we weren't the social butterflies.

When I stopped going to the meetings I had a few friends who tried for a long time to continue friendship, even being invited to Witness gatherings, but I felt so unworthy that I didnt recipricate, I allways felt bad how I had to drop them like that.
I expect they though I was a fake friend.

i picked it up while i was still considered a good witness and knew enough to hang onto it.
later when i was trying to fade, i would show up a bit late to the convention and pin this on.. it's amazing what you can get away with having one of these pinned to your suit.. i would show up at lunch, say hello to the people in my congregation and they always asked where i was sitting.

I was allways an attendants but all we got in the UK was the paper badge.
We where allways attendants because it meant we missed the sessions so had an excuse to go to another assembly down in Plymouth to catch up on that fine Spiritual food we had missed, oh and to see if the Sisters down there where more interested in us than ones in London were.
