  Two Gilead Instructors let go!

  within recent time, two gilead instructors were sent out of paterson.

  these men both were experienced and trained well, in fact they were the main instructors.

  they each had double digit years of instructing experience.

  One of the Governing Body had a stroke yesterday

  on may 19th, theodore jaracz had a stroke.

  he's in very serious condition in the hospital.. that's all the information i have for now.. barb.

  so a good friend of mine e-maild me today with this information.

  aparently brother hurd says as of 2010 all the magazine printing and distribution will be moved to canada.

  the only printing the us will do is the books.

  since you have taken so much time in answering questions and commenting, i ask one more question:.

  could you elaborate on who wrote certain books and brochures etc.?

  i know you have written about articles you have contributed to, and also that coc lists the authors of some of the books, but do you remember at least some authors of some books / brochures / special articles?.

  I had heard the same thing about the book. I guess I had assumed since it was not in print, it would not be on the CD.
  It is a great book, very well written in a "matter of fact" kind of way with believable interpretations. NOTHING like the refuse in the recent Isaiah, Revealtion and Daniel books.

  Interestingly, last autumn my cong was host for the CA. During his Tuesday night talk the DO referenced "Commentary on James". I was totally shocked! It is also on the latest CD rom.

  Calling the Borg "Mother"

  hey all,.

  i have noticed many of the elders in my hall are now calling the wtbs "mother" from the stage during their talks now.

  it happens at least once per meeting.

  Over the years they have based the term "mother' applying to the "faithful slave" very loosely on Galatians 4:26: "But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother." ASV- However, Paul was saying that the Jerusalem above was his and his counterparts' mother. How they stretched it to apply to them is anybody's guess. We all know how convuluded and utterly nonsensical is their theology! Anyway, recently the CO mentioned in the elders' meeting, that we should NOT be using the term. He did not refer to a directive from the CCOJW, he just corrected one of the "yes" men in the group after he used the term in his comment.
