Hang in there!! they won't be there forever.
make all your appointments during that time, (make some up if you have to)
obese kids sue mcdonalds
from correspondents in new york .
a lawsuit filed against mcdonalds on behalf of eight obese new york children is threatening to unleash a wave of class actions similar to those that have won huge pay-outs from the tobacco industry.. .
stupid people, stupid cases tying up the court system.
I wonder why the mother didn't do something when the kid hit the 200lb mark.
i don't know where to begin with this.. we had a meeting scheduled for monday nite (tomorrow), the inactive call.
we decided to cancel the meeting and i've been working on a letter to the elder who was supposed to come over.
i wanted to tell him how we felt and that we just wanted to back away gracefully.. so when my husband called him to cancel, he told him that he couldn't be the witness the congregation expected, etc.
good point Ozzie!
please do not let such fear of man dominate your life.We wrote letters, not mentioning anything about the DA word, but they wanted a bottom line answer and they got it. it's a lot less stress than wondering who's on the phone or when are they coming.
The scripture that was in my mind upon our decision was. Get Out Of Her My People If You Do Not Want To Share In Her Sins. they have a lot of sins that they are accountable for. God knows whats in my heart.
just to add. place a copy of Crisis Of Conscience around, maybe he will pick it up and start reading it. I Did.

Happy Birthday to You!!
yes Nic did a good job on that ,SO
Happy Birthday Qwerty
was having a wee think to myself: this year is the first year in over a decade i won't be attending the jw memorial.
not that i'm too bothered, i remembered how much i hated it, how pointless, dull, & stupid i found it!!.
i could never understand the need for the great crowd to attend the annual meeting, it wasn't for us - & it certainly wasn't for our poor bible studies!
our family hated it when it was on a Monday just after a Sunday meeting and before a Tuesday meeting. then I just had to find the right dress for the occasion and get there early to find a place to park.
or when two cong. shared the same hall and we got stuck with the later meeting.
.
actually this is a good sign for me, progress really.
the only jw question i have for today is why kingdom halls don't have any windows..
it's a mind control tactic, everyones attention remains inside.
mrs ozzie prepared the lunch and i made the drinks!
our visitors were baptist folk, so there was no shiraz today, out of respect for their sensibilities!
we enjoyed our conversation about dateline/panorama/sunday and they are taking a tape of the sunday program to various church groups in the south of sydney.
I would have to say #10
I felt yes someday, but a lot of other things had to take place first and there are really a lot of other things.
I have nothing but good feelings about not going there anymore so when I see one, I know it's full of robots having their programming sessions.
