  I know 2 of the Elders on the Ray Franz JC

  when i read coc, i was stunned that the 2 elders (theotis french & rob dibble) were on ray franz judcial committee.

  i have known these men for over 20 years having done rbc and convention work with them.

  they are still elders today which means they were in their early 30's(which is unheard of for a case of this importance to have inexperienced elders to sit on) on this committee.. without revealing myself, i have never tried(but have wanted to), ask them about their on having to judge a former gb member.. then out of the blue, about a year ago, i was mentioning how hard it is trying to get younger ones to volunteer to one of these elders, and he says"this is nothing compared to to sitting on the committee that had to disfellowship ray franz".

  I believe there was a guy in Germany with his minions who said the same thing- his name was Hitler, he had the mandate passed to annihilate millions - seems a likely scenario today as well.. the elders follow without thought, just fall in line, like good soldiers yet this elder who df'd RF is still in, knowing that there was no precedent set for that type of action against a GB member? So RF was df'd by regular elders, and not the GB? Lesser qualified men to get rid of an annointed one by Jehovahs HS??

  this article title leapt out at me and i thought that at last we may see some solid argument as to why the wt teaches what it does, some "reasoning on the scriptures ".. well... the theme scripture set a good scene, being rom 12.2 " prove to yourself the good and acceptable and perfect will of god" .

  ok , let's prove it - logically.. the article starts by citing the witnesses neutrality and refusal to bear arms as a reason to believe.

  now i happen to agree with that stand , but is it unique to j w's ?

  Not anymore

  I was brainwashed to the point I thought others in the world were wrong when they told me that, thought that anyone who committed a crime was to report it to the police because of their bad conscience and this would help clean it up, no matter what came of the police report - now I find out that so much child abuse and cover up was taking place, it makes me sick to think I was in paradise on earth when all I was was in another belief system, married into it, and screwed my kid up so much he is an emotional wreck.

  But hey .. still in cause I have no where to turn now. Waited too long......it will be what it will be.. a slow fade to black..

  EOM makes a good point about middle east tensions and the nation of Israel in prophecy- I have long thought about that one and Jehovah did say he would never leave Israel. Well... I personally believe there is a big something to that situation and am watching it closely... especially if russia, china and iran gets involved.

  No true religion puts their management ahead of Christ..truly despicable and blatantly haughty!

  A Warning for anyone with Fibromyalgia or CFS

  i had been hearing about a food supplement that has shown to be a promising therapy for fibromyalgia or chronic fatique syndrome, a food supplement called d ribose.

  i tried it and was impressed with the results, so i have been taking it for the last three months.

  unfortunately during this time i have also had intestinal issues, which have gotten progressively worse, to the point it was debilitating, also nausea, dizziness and a mild headache.

  Have you looked at getting your meds from a compound pharmacy if your insce will cover the costs?? They dont use fillers that react in a sensitive system like yours. I know, as my son is going through the same situation as you and he cannot get the pharm pills they regularly dole out - only compound pharm is his savior depending on the issues.

  I did grab some of Rutherfords 7 treatises -- there was just too much, and a lot were picking them over, the rest were broken down for the trash and I already have 8 bibles and concordants along with Blue Letter Bible site, so I did the best I could...

  They do have a computer at the hall but it is never used... and even the DVD's only go back so many years now - I kept my 2007 WT dvd as it goes back to the fifties for referencing.

  They do not have i net/satelite so unless the boys at head office direct it, we are stil in the dark as to online at hall ..

  The DC this year so confusing re the "new System". We have always been told not to theorize about the new system and what we may have, may do, etc. YET there were demos of teenagers talking about their dreams for the new world, there were talks specific to hopes we have for the new world, no mention of the dead, dying, relatives, etc.. just all in a days work to ENJOY OURSELVES IN THE NEW SYSTEM!

  Yet when the Israelites left Egypt, Egyptians went with them, when Joshua marched around Jerico, Rahab and her whole unbelieving family were saved, although she was a prostitute, she was in direct lineage for Jesus, Sodom and Gomorrah had many chances a la Abraham in speaking with God, to save the cities.... so why oh why, does the society continue to say JW's are the ONLY ones to survive???????? The society is quick enough to use previous situations to apply to their biblical quotes and give warning examples, what about the saving examples? Not everyone is wicked, not everyone hates God and Jesus!

  I truly believe God has been made a pawn in this organized mess we call the WTBTS and for that, a lot of heads will roll at Bethel and those upholding the deceit.

  I may be off subject and for that I apoliogize.

  Walked into the hall 2 months ago and here are all the old books, phamplets, bibles, etc. piled on a table for the picking.. the library in the hall was getting rid of older material - so there will not be any reference materials to wrong thinking within the hall..

  Dont know if others halls are experiencing this, but the history, the wrong dates, the wrong "new light" is slowly being wiped out and new history is being fabricated for those who are "being baptized" being born in- so as not to know the TATT,

  BUT the internet will have it all!

  Got a new co -- and of all things, received a phone call from an elder wanting to know how I was doing... apparently so did a few others in the congregation after his visit .... has anyone else been getting "uplifting" phone calls since the visit of a co? Since numbes are dwindling, are they now, too late, starting to concentrate on the congregations and keeping them "healthy" in the faith?? The horse is out of the barn and he did not ask me for my time, which was always the call before without a howdy do -- of course, I am looked at as up there in age...ha ha

  Sounds like you are very balanced in your outlook.. I always pray that Jehovah will clear up the mess, one way or another - that is all I can do at this time and have wondered how HE will make it come about. His name can't be slandered anymore that it has been over the past 10 years when all we ever thought was that we belonged to an upright moral representation of Him, just to see it shattered from one country to another, with many innocent victims along the way.

  I am not new to the board, had to change my monkier - however, I am dealing with a family sociopath right now and it is a terrible situation. Lies, blame, not accepting responsibility for actions, wanting money, cant hold a job, totally angry, sometimes violent, next minute, all smiles, as if nothing happened, so your left wondering what just happened? Am I crazy? You can talk and talk and nothing penetrates, says will do it right, never does, says will take care of personal issues, always taking and never giving, never changes -- you feel like your in a loop and no end in sight.. over and over, the same things happen -- meds are not to be taken seriously, or taking weed to compement presc meds, and on and on.. so much so legal protect order in play, they do not respect laws and NEVER admit to anything wrong, not their fault..... last word is "run" and remove all contact if at all possible. There is no changing a sociopath. Feigns sympathy and caring, can come across as a loving person but once you see the real person, it is scary.

  They emote chaos, they live in chaos, and make everyones elses lives chaos...
