She is dying

i have never felt more helpless in my life.

my grandma is sick, dying, and there is nothing i can do.

when i look at her, i see this echo of a woman that once was vital, strong and alive.

Anyone still bothered by the demons?

hi i'm wednesday and born and raised in jw.-inactive several years.

i have had a number of iincidents that appear to demonic've had spirit beings sit on my bed at ight and talk to me i've been literally touched by things unseen.

now i know the jw are big on demon stuff.

poor tink had to be rushed to the hospital early this morning 2:00am.

she went to bed fine but after several hours of pain and discomfort it got so bad she woke me up.

she had severe chest pain and pain in the center of her shoulder blades.

Hubby has Cancer.........

and my heart is breaking!..we just had it confirmed today.

he has 9 months to live so they say.

among all the heartbreak and pain he is crying and begging me to go to the kingdom hall with him.

Dear Golden Girl,

I'am sorry for what happened to your husband. Please support him on this very difficult time - he needs your emotional support in the fight to conquer his battle. Please don't give up! - there are tremendous numbers of cancer cases were the cancer became remittent. Tell him not to dwell on the thought: "I'am going to die soon.". Give him courage, and tell him that while there is life there is hope. Personally speaking, I would accompany him to the Kingdom Hall - He needs you - be there for him.

My prayers are with you and your husband.

well guys, i just cant do it.

for a long time now i have been trying to get on with my life and try to forget the rage and hurt i feel at the wtbs.

my resignation from the board a few weeks back was part of this.

Yes, it is true that recurrent thoughts of Watchtower experiences depress us. Please dwell on the positive side - think how beautiful it is to know that God allowed us to distinguish the difference between God's Word of Truth that never changes, to the Watchtower's "truth" of ever-changing re-interpretation of scripture to fit the organization and times.

Thank Our Heavenly Creator for giving us discernment; and keep praying to God for strenght and guidance in your life.

Jeremiah 23:23: " Am I a God nearby." is the utterance of Jehovah, "and not a God far away?"

PSALMS 124:6,7,8 - (6): Blessed be Jehovah, who has not given us As a prey to their teeth. (7) :Our soul is like a bird that is escaped From the trap of baiters. The trap is broken, And we ourselves have escaped. (8): Our help is in the name of Jehovah, The Maker of heaven and earth."

nervous and confused

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for expressing you feelings with us here. Shortly after leaving the organization, a sense of guilt surfaced in my conscience. The question: "Where do I go now?" This doesn't surprise me as we were led to believe the Watchtower was the "truth". It took a lot of extensive personal Bible study for me to determine that salvation is not dependent on loyalty to a man-formed organization , but that we owe our salvation to Our Saviour Jesus Christ: Acts 4: 12 : "Furthermore, there is no salvation in anyone else, for there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved." John 6:67-68 : (67): "Therefore Jesus said to the twelve:"you do not want to go also, do you?" (68) Simon Peter answered him: " Lord, whom shall we go away to? you have sayings of everlasting life;"

The Internet was a great source of help to me. I'am thankfull for websites such as this one that provided me with the "inside scoop" of this organization, thus leading me to my DA with them.

I feel damaged by my experience

hi to everyone on this board - i have been around reading many of your posts for some time now but have only just felt strong enough to post my own thoughts.

the watchtower has left me with guilty feelings that i find hard to cope with at times.

my story in the "truth" started when i was 18 years old.

Welcome to the forum !

I'am sorry for what your are going through now. There are a lot of things I can relate to you - "I feel damaged" too by the distress the Watchtower inflicted on me for 4 years I was associated with them. I have been out for over a year now, but the pain still remains within me. I think I'am still going through the healing process now, and I hope the pain vanishes some day! I feel sorry for all of you who devoted your entire lives to this deceitful organization - my prayers go to you all.

Reading posts on this site helped me deal with my own grieving process. I felt compelled to share my own experience here on the forum , hoping it to be a good source of therapy to people. Thankfully, we understand what you are going through. Pray to God for help. Read the whole chapter of Ezekiel 34 - this Scripture provides me with great comfort daily ; and it shows us that Our Heavenly Creator does not abandon His Own.

if god exists why is there is so much suffering both among humans and even more so among his creation, where all animals must, deceive then eat one another to survive?

Why God has permitted wickedness is not a debatable issue for me.

1 Corinthians 2:9 : "But just as it is written: " Eye has not seen and ear has not heard, neither have there been conceived in the heart of man the things that God has prepared for those who love him."
