I've been exploring the whole metaphysical/new age side of things and found that practitioners are very centered and balanced. I don't fully understand chakras, auras, spirit guides, and stuff like that, but I'm open to it. There's no bloodthirsty, vengeful god in any of it. Plus, there's no pressure to attend meetings or otherwise spend your time promoting it - you can do "new-age-lite" and still be accepted and loved.

Dreaming about JW's
by d inlately i have been dreaming a lot about old jw's i used to know and be friends with.
i have been out since 2008 but yet i think often of those i liked a lot at the kingdom hall.
i do not get it why do these still thoughts still come?

So "Jehovah's hand" was seen in helping that family not get killed when the plane crashed into their building (2013 yearbook), but not available to protect these little kids?
That was my point back in the mid 90's when I first heard of unchecked pedophilia in the organization. Why didn't Jehovah protect these children? Okay, if he doesn't directly intervene, then why hadn't he directed his organization to protect them? Got me thinking.

i mean besides the so called gnostic gospels.
why have they been ruled out from the cannon?

I remember the WTS literature trashing the Apocrypha by generalizing that a lot of it read like fantasy stories. How many canonical books read like fiction? Some of the crap in Judges springs to mind. I mean seriously - Samson? What about Gideon and his wet/dry fleece?
