Oubliette - You are a poet! Great art comes from great pain. Maybe you could channel your pain into poetry.
Hugs to you, my friend. Join the awakened crowd. You can be a prince here, too.

from my place of forgetting, and out of my utter despair and loneliness, i tap out my pathetic message desperately hoping that there is someone, anyone that might possibly hear ... .

is this just basically another way to say, we dislike the fact that we aren't able to control you as easily as we would like to?
or is there actually some precept which reflects this notion somewhere?
obviously from their pov if you say that you believe in the trinity, that is independent from their pov, but they would never even get to that because you would already be df'ed for apostasy.
A very dangerous thing.
today has been one of the most aganizing days since i woke up.
my family has been pressuring me to show up at the memorial for the past week.
it became very intense today with my dad texting me constantly to get me to confirm and when i didn't answer he would call my wife and then she would constantly nag me to answer my dad and so on and so forth.
Welcome to Oubliet!
Crushed - Your situation is heinous. All I can offer is (((hugs))).
good morning and sorry this is so late being posted, it's been a busy week and this is the first chance to post.. our home phone, which only a few people know and have, has been ringing constantly for the last two weeks, and my hubby and i have been ignoring it.
my parents and the elders are the only ones that have our home phone number and my parents have been just calling my cell because they know we won't answer the house phone...anyways this has been going on for several weeks.. on saturday i get a call from my dad asking me how the asl cong works with recruiting people for their hall...i was really confused because my parents live 90 miles from the asl cong and the people in that hall are too lazy to drive that far.
so i asked him to explain.. apparently some man called asking if there was anyone in the household who knew asl to help communicate with deaf....so i can't say everything about the conversation because i don't want to reveal details.
.
here is where i found this pic.
bangalore.
Way to go, Mouthy!
i bet that title raised some apostate eyebrows lol but let me explain.... first of all this is the first memorial where i didn't place an invitation!
not a single one!
it feels a little surreal but i actually can't remember the last time i went peddling some literature door to door.. anyway, i got to the memorial about 5 mins early, and sat at the back with the brother in charge of sound.
Welcome, Elbear!
after spending a month in cold, rainy, snowy conditions, and using up 100's of gallons of fuel in service.
jehovah certainly blessed our efforts!!.
we must have had zero invitees up from zero the year before!!!
CAD - LOL!
i have lurked now and then, just decided to join.. my older brother and i were raised by our jw mom, but our dad was a non-practicing catholic.
so we went to the hall, but were considered "weak" witnesses, since our family still celebrated xmas and birthdays, to appease my dad i suppose.
as a kid, i loved these holidays.. anyways, when my brother was 17 (i was 13), he spent a few weeks with our cousins in ky, who are all gung-ho j-dubs, and upon his return, he decided he was going to be more "theocratic".
Welcome!
i think i'll go to my favorite`watering hole and help "celebrate" tonight's festivities.. what are you doing this evening?.
anyone going to the "lord's evening meal"?.
.
Oh yeah!
