  Losing Loved ones to Death While in the Org..

  did anyone lose beloved family members or friends to death while in the org?

  if so, how did you feel about it once you came out of the cult and figured out that everything you'd been taught about the new system coming soon, and loved ones being resurrected was a big fat lie you'd been spoonfed?

  how did you feel and react to that?.

  (((((((Kim)))))))))) What I always tried to remember at a time like this, was to honor the deceased by not being one of the stone-throwers. Refuse to get sucked into their emotional games, and just honor the one who had died. My sympathy goes out to you. Big hugs!

  dylan boe held on to his faith until the end.. the 19-year-old was the only one of four young friends who wasn't immediately killed in a two-vehicle crash near melville, saturday.. like preston presiloski, adam anderson and elisha stasiuk, boe was a jehovah's witness.

  i am just going to play devil's advocate here for a second since i need help reasoning something out again.

  i think i have the answer, but i just need to do this outloud and hear some responses to make sure i am clear on this particular issue.. i remember once, when i first came across a lengthy write-up on the faulty reasoning the wts used to come up with the whole 1914 thing, i was having dinner with an older bro who, at the time, was a very close friend of mine.

  i asked him directly just how valid the date was and if what i was reading on the internet had any credibility.

  I guess what is in my mind, is that the entire religion is based on lies. Lots of them. And control. Megabucks worth. If they admit that the base of the religion was built entirely on shifting sand, and that approx 80% or more of their doctrine is all built on falsehoods, who do you think would stay? And, legally, they would be opening themselves up to billions of dollars in lawsuits, for all the people who have died due to their false prophesying and unbiblical rules, not to mention their gestapo tactics of enforcing those rules.

  I'll have you know, that is an optical epithet and extremely offensive. Anyone with the slightest sense of what is proper knows to say "parts of color" rather than "colored parts." Please observe this in future.
