  What Would You Like to be Written on Your Tombstone?

  since i have a rather morbid sense of humor, and none of us is going to see armageddon................................ what would you like to be written on your tombstone?

  i'll start.. "buried face down...........and you know the rest".

  "his last word were..............boy, i'm getting hot!".

  Can you name ONE thing that the WTBTS said that came true?

  garybuss said not one single thing they told him about in his younger years (since the 50's) came true.

  it made me think....does anyone know of anything they said that was/is right?????

  Name things JW's avoid doing since they believe that the end is so close

  maybe some jw's avoid going to the doctor and get good medical care, since the end is so close.. if you were sure the end was very close, what would you avoid doing?.

  building hall fiascos .

  my last congregation, after buying premises, started to renovate the building into a kingdom hall.. hear are a few of the disasters that went wrong !!!!.

  wallpaper was put on upside down,.

  My last congregation, after buying premises, started to renovate the building into a Kingdom Hall.

  Hear are a few of the disasters that went wrong !!!!

  Wallpaper was put on upside down,

  Attempting to move a beam, knocked it through the outside wall.

  Shutting the water supply off, by hitting the copper tube to close the pipe up with hammer,

  When they coupled the sewage outlet to mains in the street, they had the flow the wrong way !!! it came back to the hall with every one else’s.

  It took 3 weekends for carpenter to build new door, 2 weeks later they knocked it down and bricked it up.

  Brother who was a skilled electrician walked out on the job three times,

  Elder who was a painter and decorator refused to help after the shambles with the way it was being done

  The new system !!

  Isaiah 65 v21 And they will certainly build houses and have occupancy…………

  I hope there is a good site foreman around at the time ???

  You surely must have met similar disasters!

  JW members are slowy Awakening!

  sometimes you wonder if the wtbts will ever come to a dead end.

  but, it is always encouraging when you hear of the gradual awakening of individuals who have been trapped in the cult their whole lives.. walking home from school yesterday i felt a tap on my shoulder and turned round to see a jw i have known since he was a little boy.

  he has been a window cleaner since leaving school and is married with three children.. straight away he said to me: ' my wife has gone to university!

  Gill, as you said - the WTBTS is slowly bleeding to death.

  As the Society don't believe in blood transfusions, let's hope this is quick and terminal

  What would happen if a congregation or two decided not to pay back their Kingdom Hall loans? I thought there was three elders who were appointed as trustees, if the congregation did not pay, I thought it fell on these three elders to pay I'm thinking more of the puchase of a Kingdom hall. KT
