  i have been research the topic of how christ died and have read many articles (most interesting of them was at the url http://www.freeminds.org/doctrine/cross.htm) which indicate that he died on a cross, so i contacted the wt and they told me to look at vine's expository dictionary of new testament words, and this is what i found.

  I ifnd it bizarre for a Canadian to teach an American about their own history. Country Girl, the American Civil War was not started over the issue of equality of man. Rather the civil war began over the issue of individual state rights. The Emancipation Proclamation wasn't written until well after the start of the war.

  As far as the issue of reparations go, I agree with your conclusions but not your reasoning.

  hello everyone.my name is richard and i would like to come back to the truth.i never did get baptized so im not disfellowshiped.my family are still all in the truth,and there lives are so much better than mine.satan has taked over my life completly.and ive had enough.i want to turn my life around and ask jehovah to come back into my heart.i have a very serious drug and alcohol problem.and do not want to live my life like this anymore.i know my life will get better if i let jehovah back in.im just scarred right now.i sill have a little deamon that keeps telling me not to do this.but i really want to.i sure could use some words of encouragement if anyone would like to help i sure would apriciate it.and does anyone know if i can get publcations online...?

  i would appreciate getting opinions on the scriptural status of drug prohibition.

  is there any evidence that the early christians had any prohibitions against using drug plants?

  Your first premise that to ban drugs is to blaspheme, is utterly preposterous. According to the bible, God (or whatever you want to call him/her) is the creater of ALL THINGS. Therefore he/she is also the creator of evil. If this is blasphemous, blame your bible not me.

  Whats the best anti-war film?

  just watched the "thin red line" last night, a very artisticaly shot film with great music, that shows the mental aguish suffered by soldiers in war.the contrast between the peace and beaty of the island and its people and the war being fought makes you wonder what war is all about.. it makes me wish that people would sit down and think about what they are actually doing when they talk of sending people to kill for their country..
