LETTERS TO BOE/DON"T WATCH DATELINE?

has anyone seen or heard of any letters going out from headquarters to the body of elders directing them to inform the congregations not to watch dateline?

i was wondering if this is really true or just a rumor.

if it is true, this is terrible that they can actually deny members freedom of press or punishment.

What a wonderful way of twisting the truth. My brother did not refuse "medical aid", he refused blood. All JWs love life and want to live. They will look at all medical ways of saving their life. Blood is not a choice. JWs have standards and will not nogotiate with Jehovah on the matter of blood. We are nobody to question Jehovah and his rightous ways. If he said "no blood" then it's no blood. Simple. Apostates will try to twist the JW view to discredit their faithfulness and loyalty to Jehovah.

JWs are not here to please apostates. They only rejoice in following Jehovah's laws and principles.

To a certain horde of regulars, I'm appalled at your behavior considering the harsh criticism you have given to "Fred Hall" and "You Know" and other rogue JWs!

I am very happy to see that apostates either get disfellowshipped, they disassociate themselves, or just leave. Apostates always complain that their is no real love between JWs. This is so false. They don't realize that after they leave, the congregation is again at peace and keep showing love to one another. The apostate is what cause divisions and lack of love in the congregations, that's why they complain, but they are the problem. This is the beauty of how Jehovah works, he cleanses his congregation from these pests.

as many of you may know in recent weeks wt has moved to silence victims and advocates by disfellowshipping those who have spoken out on child molestation within the organization.

spokesman for jehovahs witnesses have made allegations that are untruthful, from saying that they had no idea who was appearing on dateline, stating that it has been established policy that child molesters work only in twos in the door to door ministry, to stating the judicial meetings were over other sins against god.

Bowen Disfellowshipping/Daramsala Salt Works

bill bowen's disfellowshipping is very likely to have the same effect as the attack, by british and conscripted indian forces, on gandhi's followers who attempted to close the daramsala salt works.

this event marked the end of the british raj in india - even though the brits stayed in nominal power a couple more years.

the unprincipled and immoral attack upon unarmed demonstrators showed the world the utter lack of ethics and morals of the the british lording it over someone else in their own home.. likewise, the jw attacks, disfellowshipping of people who attempt to protect the most defenseless, the most helpless, the most innocent members of our society, is a carbon-copy of the arrogance of the british raj in india - and at the salt works that fateful day.. these disfellowshippings will demonstrate to the world the complete moral degeneracy of the watchtower bible and tract society.

This particular issue of child abuse does seem to be the pivotal issue which is exposing the entire Watchtower religious system as a fraud, devoid of ethics, and lacking common basic concern for more important things than their marketing image.

Could you point to the publication that says that all members of JWs are perfect human beings? Didn't think so... Isreal was guided by God, did they have problems? The first Christian congregation was guided by God, did they have problems?

well we got the phone call from the elder to let us know of the decision to disfellowship us.

the one elder called while the other sat on the phone as a "witness".

the second elder was once a close friend.

What did you expect? A pat in the back for speaking against Jehovah's organization and Jesus' annointed brothers? Don't get me wrong, I understand your struggle, but you have crossed way over the line. You have been mislead and you sincerely think that those that are helping do because they care for you. If they cared they would helping you with your spirituality by helping you get closer to Jehovah. Instead they will do anything in their power (or twisted words) to get you to leave Jehovah's sanctuary.

You are fighting the only person that ever really cared for you, and that is Jehovah. You are using all your resource and energy, not to punish the wrondoer (in this case a pedophile), but to speak against Jehovah's people. What you don't realize is the difficulty that the brothers in Bethel have in guiding 6 million of Jehovah's people worldwide.

They are doing their best to follow all Bible law and principles and at the same time protecting Jehovah's sheep. But you have decided to turn against that arrangement, similarly as how Miriam turned against Moses, her flesh brother. She might have been right in her critic of Moses, but it wasn't her place to speak against Jehovah's annointed servant. Do you honestly think that Jehovah has closed his eyes to the abuse of children? Of course not, he has a plan. But you as an imperfect human being, question his plan or solutions?

as i am sure most of you know my parents were told they were to be disfellowshipped by roger eisenhuth and steve stripling over the telephone today.

yes we know they were disfellowshipped for apostasy however, is'nt it curious that they were not provided an explanation for how the elder body came to their decision.

i personally think that it is something that is truly deserving of an answer.
