Whose been ripped off financially by his JW brother?

i posted this in another thread but it is more relevant here.

i worked for jw doing back breaking work for a while only to be told by another jw that he was ripping me of - he was paying me half the going rate.

i was only 17 and naive didn't know anything about the world of work.

It would probably be easier to ask who HASN'T been ripped off? We won't hire anymore witnesses because we got screwed over one time after another. They mostly just did lousy work and when you call them on it they blow their stack and think you should just STFU about it since you're all in one big orgy jw witness happy family. I know one life-long JW woman and she won't hire any JWs because she says they're all crooked to do business with. I could go on and on. Interesting thing is it's all been the older diehard witnesses that ripped us off. The young ones seem to follow a different tune and have no problems with, but they're mostly my friends too so that's maybe the difference. ;-)

Not very often. I know of several taliban, *cough* sorry, I mean elders that were beating the living sh*t out of their wives. One of them got it so bad that she ended up in the state mental hospital many, many times.

I always found it disgusting how the men treated their wives and lorded it over them like they were some sort of god.

i have never heard of this before, but i think it is worth knowing.. i have come across a rather strange story.

yes it is legitimate and some details are left out to protect this persons identity.. this lady is having problems in her feet and hands.

the doctors find that gangrene is setting in.. it is decided that the legs up to the knees must be removed to stop the spread of septic infection.. the fingers are also to be removed because the infections are starting in the extremities.. it is discovered that a tampon has been left in the vagina for a long time.

hey all .

well im on my lunch break thought id quickly say hi and that so far job is going great.its funny leaving the office\bosses home and simply walking downstairs into my unit for lunch .

i have already stuffed something up tho so waiting eagerly for him to come back from meetings to fix it for me.. but so far all is great and we are pretty comfy round each other which is nice.. .
