  Could someone tell me which verse of the Bible says that a relationship with the Almighty will be determined by three dudes in one's hometown leveraging an unscriptural oath to a contract that changes at the unilateral will of one party?

  so i txt my in law who works at the printing facility in the us regarding why there were no bibles in so many congregations.

  they never answered for either text.

  I knew someone who took tours at the Walkill and Brooklyn facilities earlier in the year. None were available in English at either location.

  There were a few Vietnamese editions, but that's it.

  Wouldn't you think there'd be Bibles at the main offices?

  there is much frustration from jws who attended other kingdom halls because the jws were not friendly and actually smug!

  social experiments on jw good manners and the "love that identifies the true christians" did you find it?.

  it does not exist because they do not love each other unless they are authorized to from the wts..

  I thought cults did the love-bombing thing... or is that only if you walk in with a known individual?

  In a conversation with my friend, I was railed against for not coming to the KH and meeting the "friends."

  If I went, he wouldn't be able to come near me I suppose, for, being a female, he wouldn't be allowed to know me, correct?

  I'm wondering if I'd be met with the same coldness you all speak of. I wonder how that would make him feel.

  This would be a complete fail if the whole congregation swarmed with the love-bomb thing.

  His KH is probably predominantly African-American - in churches that can make a difference. Has anyone noticed if that makes a difference here?

  i thought i would share some of my observations on counting field service time, reports, etc.

  and how those reports are viewed, to those that are still so fixated on numbers.. i served as secretary on the service committee for many years, and have seen it all!.

  i was really disheartened when wt changed the requirement for aux pioneering to allow for 30 hrs, instead of the 50 it has been for so long.

  that his jw best friend he hasn't seen in ages is coming for holidays from where he now lives overseas.

  this jw friend was instrumental in getting my husband into the cult before we met.

  i heard from a jw from my old cong who just emailed me.

  How about stopping all the drains in the house which could require staying at a hotel and falling off the grid for a few days.

  Can you make your off work hours much busier?

  Theater tickets?

  Amusement park tickets

  Free hotel stay that HAS to be used that week?

  BU2B: The text refers to Jesus for us non-jws. Differentiation using context clues is standard operating procedure.

  Kind of like have a father and son with the same first name. To differentiate, the context of the story and even an inflection of a voice allows others to know who is being referenced or called upon.

  I believe the creation of this proper noun has served the organization well which is the reason they keep jamming it down the adherents throats.
