The US Military right not has a shortfall of about 250,000 people which really highlights the challenges of the current job market. The idea that we are going to kick out 10 million people working the worst jobs in the country is kind of silly.

i believe that his involvement in propelling or influencing a leaning toward bible prophecy will unfold.

The Russia Ukraine war really highlights the fact, the watchtower and Trax Society can only exist in free and secular democracies. This seems to be lost on most Jehovah’s Witnesses. You are only free to attend the kingdom hall because of the blood in sacrifice of others. That’s the reason I find it kind of despicable to go door-to-door on remembrance Day..

Over the last year or so I have got to know some Ukrainian refugees and their stories are just heartbreaking. I don’t for a second blame any man with a family for fleeing the country. Anyone with children who goes off to war is just unbelievably heartbreaking for me.
every time a Jehovah witness gives me that holier than thou song and dance about not going off to war I point to them what happened to the watchtower in Russia and what will happen to the watchtower in the Ukraine if they are, they are conquered. All I get and return is some talk around that really never addresses this issue. It’s just blah blah, blah, blah blah blah blah..
after getting to know these Ukrainians, it makes you realize how disrespectful the watchtower really is.

The Jake Paul Mike Tyson fight was pathetic. I don’t think Mike Tyson threw more than 12 punches the entire fight.. it literally looked like Jake was trying not to hurt him.

The general understanding was that Jesus was the manifestation or seeable version of God in the Old Testament. He was either the word of the Lord or the angel of the Lord, etc., etc..
People have been arguing over the details of this for the last 2000 years and I really don’t think there’s much point or anything I can add to this to discussion so I really don’t bother anymore.
The part that I’ve always found quite frightening with the watchtower is there’s no concept or understanding of why people believe what they believe.

Once you learn about this , you realize they just cooked the books to arrive at the so called understanding.

Man, I love reading these old beard threads.
I just saw the biggest dickhead elder in my former cong with a beard. I know a guy who was studying to be a JW but had a beard and as told he couldn't progress any further with facial hair. All the elders got together and had a meeting about it. After maybe 5 years of attending off and on, he finally just threw in the towel over his issue.
This was only maybe 2 years ago, not like it is ancient history.

it’s almost like a lot of ex jw w become as toxic and his judgmental as jehovah’s witnesses themselves what’s up with that?

I always considered myself a staunch conservative till covid and I realized the same people who go bananas over a 15 year girl having an abortion because of the sanctity of human life are the same people who in no way shape or form going to inconvenience themselves so you don't miss your cancer biopsy. All rights , no responsibilities.
Now the same people who amassed giant gun collections and jerk off to guns and ammo because that is what they believe keeps them free are same people who get a boner over cutting aid to Ukraine. A guess actually fighting North Koreans kind of kills the fantasy they are the baddest people on the planet.
Watching Jordon Peterson in tears over transgender youth while 1.2 million American die of covid.
Hearing Trump talk about draining the swamp while adding 7.2 trillion to the nation debt.
I don't think I changed, I think my movement changed and it has become an absolute joke.

The pandemic wasn't practically over when Trump left office. The worst days of the pandemic were the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022.
I just stopped reading after you made that claim. There is no point if you just make up facts and figures.
