  We have Ukrainian refuges were I have live. They are young families with children and as a father I get it. Love your children more than you hate your enemies. You can tell the young men are not cowards, it is just there kids need a father more than the army needs a soldier.

  That said, I really don't give two shits about " conscientious objector " status. If you don't want to shoot a gun , the army has plenty of support jobs needed to be filled. If the WTS can't get behind the cause of Ukrainian freedom after what Russia to the WTS...........who can ?

  let’s try to keep this non-partisan - just give your opinion and why you think that way.. i’ll go first.

  i think jws would generally lean to the right, but not by a whole lot.

  Jehovah Witnesses feel no social responsibility to help the poor or needly. Nor do they feel it is there role in helping people fighting for there freedom ( Ukraine ). They are poorly educated half-wits who partake in the adulterous idol worship of men. They feel to need to tell you how they feel about everything all the time and how there is a better world coming just around the corner. They hate gays, trans and women who have abortions.

  Jehovah Witnesses are Republicans. Just look at the Right Leaning nonsense of this board by far.

  I have an actual cardiologist in my family and literally they first thing they learned about Covid in 2020 was that people who survived a Covid infection were at a much higher risk of heart attacks and strokes post infection. This was pre-vaccine rollout.

  The idea of blaming heart attacks and strokes on the vaccine isn't support by data separating cases by age and vaccination status cases per 100,000 either.

  Spoiler alert- It is covid.

  it got me thinking.. i’m openly gay in the family and most definitely not a witness.

  anyway, i was invited to the wedding and i went.

  i didn’t get the covid vaccine, but i admit, i was scared as shit i made the wrong decision because there was so much confusion out there.

  practically all my family and most of my friends took the vaccine because everyone was depending on those in charge to speak the truth.

  now a lot of them are sick, and they can't figure out why.

  Proudly happy ?

  i was attending an evangelical church when the pandemic hit. My son had a nasty case of RSV and was hospitalized. I soon found myself competing for an oxygen tank and nurse with Jesus freaks and various tin foil hat nutters.

  Proud ? It seems like a weird thing to be proud of.

  i didn’t get the covid vaccine, but i admit, i was scared as shit i made the wrong decision because there was so much confusion out there.

  practically all my family and most of my friends took the vaccine because everyone was depending on those in charge to speak the truth.

  now a lot of them are sick, and they can't figure out why.

  Hospital capacity

  doctor and bed as per 100,000 people

  iCU admissions , hospitalizations and covid deaths vaccinated vs unvaccinated.

  All cause morality adjusted per 100,000 vaxxed vs unvaxxed.

  People need to realize there opinions aren’t really worth much.

  The connection between covid and cancer is people either not getting in to see the doctor or not getting there cancer biopsy back in time because of the strain on the healthcare system because of the pandemic.

  There was a huge drop in cancer diagnosis in 2021 followed by a spike in 2023. Figure it out.

  Covid killed more people indirectly than directly.
