  I think it's more like 150 years...starting from when they first started prophesying around about 1874...the locusts from hell were only authorized for 5 months. According to WTS figuring a Biblical month is 30 days...a day for a year and we come up with 2024. That's in the realm of their 2034 prediction so when it's obvious they're going back to hell in 2024 they can say they got one right anyway...Yipee for them. NOT.

  People You Meet At The Grocery Store

  here it is 11 pm and i just returned from safeway where i went for a few quick items at 10. safeway is only a few blocks from my house.

  as i was looking at the meat counter for some good bargains, being the cheap dude i am, as well as broke, a not unattractive blonde lady walks up to me and starts in complaining about the cost of granola, saying there is no way in hell she will pay $3 for a granola bar.

  now, i have heard of women who go to stores late at night to get picked up by guys and quite honestly, always thought it was bs.

  I've been working nights as a cashier in a grocery store and you'd be surprised at the number of people that complain about how the cost of food is going up. Most of those people end up expressing complete dissatisfaction with the Bush administration too and they aren't drunk.

  I've only seen one religious fanatic so far though. An old woman, about 80 or 90 came in with a younger gal. The older one seemed a bit senile...didn't know how to use her MAC card and seemed a bit unsure about why she was there. When they were getting ready to leave she said: "Do you want some news?" and practically threw the WT and AWAKE at me. I said thanks and she left looking happy.

  She didn't realize that she'd just given ammunition to an apostate.

  I've often thought that Jesus' words had to do with the fact that he became "accursed" because of the manner of his death. If I'm not mistaken, up until his ressurection, the Law was still in effect so he really was forsaken at that particular time. If he wasn't then what it says in Galatians chapter 3 isn't true.

  If you read the Psalm 22 in its entirety, it goes along with those same thoughts and seems to basically describe what Jesus may have been feeling...knowing that he represented a curse according to God's Law despite his intense faith in Him. I think he suffered more on a Spiritual level than he did physically because of his love for God.

  Psalm 22 goes on to describe the hope that was in Jesus despite his predicament...that God did hear him and would use the situation to benefit mankind.

  yes ... you heard me correctly.

  sometime ago we saw how chimps made tools by using other tools.

  we saw how they learned language and could construct a basic sentance on their own, as well as learn to read a little ... well now ... a new study has been completed where monkeys were paid tokens for completing certain tasks ... the monkeys saved up their tokens ... and then they were offered to trade their tokens for things like food, etc.

  How did the USA perceive the Louise Woodward case?

  remember the english girl babysitter who was supposed to have murdered that little baby?

  the court case was on live tv everyday (like ojsimpson).

  i watched both and was convinced of ojs guilt but was also convinced of lwoodwoods innocence.

  I don't know about anybody else, but I watched the trial on court TV and thought that she was NOT guilty. There were too many things that didn't add up, like his fractured wrist that was never treated. Some of the experts testified that he could have suffered a head injury at the same time as the wrist fracture and didn't develop serious symptoms until later. I could see how that might be true, especially since no one was aware of his wrist. They wouldn't have been taking any precautions and anything could have aggrevated the condition.

  I didn't think she seemed like the kind of girl that would flip out on a baby either.
