  i received this e-mail from my sister (known here as 'nikita') on february 12th:

  hi guys, just to fyi we had a fire that started in our dryer on tuesday night-fortunately, i was home (with ann's baby) and caught it at the early stages and was able to call the fire dept (another fortunate thing was our firemen just happened to be having a meeting and responded before the whistle sounded from the 911 center.

  ) but, even so, by the time they got here it was only minutes away from blowing as at the top of our basement stairs the temp.

  Hi, all!

  I received this e-mail from my sister (known here as 'Nikita') on February 12th:

  Hi guys, just to fyi we had a fire that started in our dryer on Tuesday night-fortunately, I was home (with Ann's baby) and caught it at the early stages and was able to call the fire dept (another fortunate thing was our firemen just happened to be having a meeting and responded before the whistle sounded from the 911 center.) But, even so, by the time they got here it was only minutes away from blowing as at the top of our basement stairs the temp. registered 800 degrees! There is tremendous smoke damage throughout the whole house. Alex and I were fine-no major side effects from the smoke inhalation. I received some really bad bruises and cuts on my legs as I had to walk to our back yard in 2 feet of ice (every time I took a step, my feet would break through the ice) to get the dogs from the back yard so that the firemen could do their job. The cats had to be given oxygen as they were the last ones out. Another fortunate thing is we were supposed to have a new sectional sofa delivered today. Now, we are displaced-living with my in-laws, the cats are racking up a boarding bill, the dogs are with us while we await the insurance adjuster to tour the home and tell us what they will do. I am hoping they will let us just take out the carpet as I am not sure if even if it were to be cleaned it would help much. Then, there are the mattresses, the dryer, the walls, etc...On top of all this I had a tooth extracted today-yeah!

  i was raised a jw, seriously studied the bible, consumed it, and in my decades, found very few jws or non-jws who knew it as well as i. i love god's word, the bible.

  i left the jws as a teen/young man, df'd for fornication, with no witnesses, and i never showed for the judicial commitee.

  when i came back in (in my 20s) and was re-instated, i was "super jw", very zealous, and very vocal and knowlegeable of the bible.

  TELL US YOUR LACK OF LOVE STORIES FOR THE LURKERS.

  jesus said, "you will all know my followers by they're works".

  in a recent thread that i made, which lie hurt you the most, most posters presented they're arguments, and pretty much all of them said that the "lack of love" was horrendous.

  why don't you write out your lack of love stories so that the lurkers can visit and see what this destructive high-control-group (aka, cult) does to the emotional health of sheep who are sick and weak.

  The elders held a Judicial Committee against my sister (known here as Nikita) after she got married in a church.

  They formed the JC despite:

  1) My sister being inactive for a few years prior to marriage.

  2) Not even telling her that they were forming the committee.

  3) Making an announcement of "disassociation" by her actions to the congregation and not informing my brother and me about the announcement in advance.

  many of you have real talent, and you write with such passion and emotion when publishing your life stories.

  Animals in the New System

  has there been previous discussions on the nature of animals in the new system?

  most people seem to think that the animals will suddenly become completely different than they are today.

  lions and tigers will eat hay, not meat, etc, but if you think about animal natures and the perfect system that exists in the animal food chain, it doesn't make sense.. what would a horse be if it had no fear of predators?

  with cerebral palsy, constant pain, watching their entire families get gunned down.. here is the deal.

  So, tell me: What if Jesus DID sin. Let's say he and Mary Magdalene rolled in the hay. What would the Big Guy in the sky do next? Zap Jesus? Take away his heavenship privileges? Let him grow old like Adam?

  Also, would that be it for humans? Was it a one-shot deal?

  God: "Dammit! Jesus poked Mary Magdalene. Now what do I do? CRAP! Oh, well. At least I tried. Good riddance, you filthy humans! I guess Satan was right."

  it's an addiction that i have tried to stop since i was a young boy.

  my friends and loved ones have tried to encourage me to quit, but i just can't.

  when i used to attend meetings, i would feed my addiction right there in the kingdom hall.
