  hey ya'll, t was announced this morning at the breakfast table that there are two new members of the governing body.

  they were formerly "helpers" or "given ones.

  " anthony morris raised a family and then went into the traveling work.

  That presents the same problem the last few appointments have.

  Sure does, but that did not seem to upset very many JWs, so why should it now?

  The Annointed class was supposed to have been gathered by 1935, wasn't it?

  When were these men born?

  Don't know, but they have other members on GB and I personally know other anointed who are younger. You have this issue for anyone claiming to be anointed not just GB members.

  Are we going to continually have a steady stream of new annointed ones, for the next 100 years?

  Probably.

  Will people begin to see through the ruse?

  A few will, but not the majority.

  98% of the anointed are bogus anyway, but that does not stop the true believers from ignoring facts.

  Thanks for the article post Richie! I remember that one now. At the time I thought it was just silly. So that's it then. The GB has gone and appointed two new members, that aren't anointed. Wow........I'm just sitting here in shock. They couldn't even just say, hey they're from the GC. No they had to go and invent some special other "class" of Christian. Now we have the Annointed, the Nethenim, and then the Great Crowd.

  I am sure they were upgraded to anointed class if they let them on the GB.

  i just got a phone call from a really good friend of mine.

  her husband is an elder, and a good friend of my husband's.

  well, sunday my husband had the public talk in our kh, and they took him to lunch afterwords.

  Tell you that you are depressed that you appreciate her concern but there is nothing she can do to help, then change the subject. If she brings it up again, repeat the previous statement and change the subject again. Continue until she gets a clue.

  Being pressured to goto meetings,

  hi everyone, all i wanted was a bible study, now we're at the point where we read 2 chapters in knowledge book, and the discussion turns to how i forsaking the inciting with others to worship,(something like that).

  is there anything i can say to get them to accept that i'll go when/if i feel like going?.

  this past weekend, they kept asking me what obstacles were in my way, i said i haven't had time, they go yeah you say that but there has to be something else, .

  Tell them that they offered you a FREE home bible study. And that is what you are interested in at this time. Ask them, is it really FREE, or is attending the meetings a requirement for the FREE home study?

  Ask them, how long will they continue with the FREE home study if you decide to never go to meetings?

  Then ask yourself, is it really FREE?

  Watchtower and UN?

  is this issue of the watchtower being part of the un department of public information of any significance?

  at the district conventions of jehovahs witnesses there are flags of the united states and other sovereign government such as states or other countries hanging from the buildings.

  the governing body and the watchtower society rent buildings which become the equivalent of kingdom halls for the weekend.

  I only see the YMCA as a swimming pool, nothing more. I don't have a problem joining so I can use the services of the YMCA to gain better health. It's a non-issue, Right?

  Many JWs have a saying they like to use, "When in doubt, leave it out!"

  You should apply that here, it sounds like your not sure if you should take this step (doubt), call off your meeting tonight, come down sick and put it off at least for a few more weeks so you can think this through all of the way.

  You are about to start a life based on conditional love. Do you really want that? I can tell you from experience, you will regret it later, it may be a few years down the road and you will look back at the time you waisted getting tied up with someone who will only love you based on their terms.

  == Get a hotel that is NOT on the WT list. It's your money, stay where you want! No crowds in the pool to fight, no waiting for elevators, restraunt or bar seating.... ice machines always full. And the best reason... no self righeous elders wifes to rat you out if you have a few drinks in the bar.

  Where was J.F. Rutherford burried?

  i have heard speculation that he could be burried in san diego at beth sarim or somewhere on statin island ny.

  why is this such a big secret to the wt?

  is there anyone still alive who knows where rutherford was burried?.

  Is the Governing Body in Danger at Bethel as More Bethlites read the Net??

  do you think the gb should limit contact with bethelites because of possible harm that could come to them right there at headquarters.

  i mean think of how many bethelites have interent access and know the gb are tyrants, but are stuck there at bethel because they have no money and no place to turn because they have been there for many years.. i think many gbs purposely keeps to themselves now a days, they probably should even think seriously of a body guard even while at bethel.. have you notice the wt doesn't give any advance notice when a gb will be speaking at conventions anymore, could it be that they are worried that some father or other family member who lost a child through thier no blood policy, finds out throught the internet that the gb are phoneies and now blames the gb for the loss of life.

  think of how dangerous it would be to give advanced notice when so and so gb member would be giving a convention talk.

  But how would they enforce a wireless ban?? don't seem very pratical to me. And it would make a lot of people suspicious

  The statement that wireless access is not allowed at Bethel was made by a bethelite to my brother who lives in NY. He has a couple of bethelites stay at his house on weekends. How don't know how they would enforce the ban or even if they do enforce it, but according to this bethelite it is a rule.

  Keep in mind that the WTBS can block access to any website from outgoing internet lines from Bethel. Most corporations block any access to "porn" sites too. It's quite easy to do. After all if they can't access the internet fully at Bethel where will they? They would need to go to a library to get unrestricted access.

  Bethel does not allow wireless internet access. All access must be via land lines. Some who have laptops can't wait to get away to their congregations on weekends so they can use the wireless access.
