The only regret I have is not leaving earlier. I wasted the best years of my life in that f***** up cult.

Do you feel guilty?
by Justmenthedogs inso while i was out hiking with the dogs today i got to thinking about this forum and was wondering how many of you still feel guilty from time to time for leaving?
i do, i miss my family at times but then i think about the life that i have created and i have a good one, i have good friends and i am happy, happier then i ever was as a jw.
i was just wondering if others feel the same way sometimes..

The Truth No one Wants To Hear
by maccauk11 inthe truth about messiah and what he acheived in the 1st century is something millions of believers in christ refuse to accept namely the historical record of things all fulfilled in that momentous 1st century.it is rejected because the -isms, man made doctrines, theologies, false teachings etc etc that abound since then and so millions have allowed themselves to be brainwashed, conditioned into.
the reality is so simple if one lets messiah remain with his intent and meaning.
but if we change his own words, we become divided.

The image I remember from the first "Red" book was of the way too sexy lady with the big bedroom eyes, voluptuous hair, wearing sexy lingerie, and ready to get it on.
They changed this image in the second edition to a much more straitened and modest image, with the lady wrapped up in granny's dressing gown.
Or something like that. It's been a while.

Don't you just hate it, Pelican, when someone smarter than you uses you own arguements against you?
Adamah uses the bible's own internal contradictions to expose your twisted circular reasoning and the only defense you can mount is "Whatever"?
Dude, you lose.

What Drew You To The Witnesses?
by minimus ini did believe for the first 30 years of my life that they had been picked by jehovah god to dispense the truth as best as imperfect humans could.
then, everything became questionable.
i had read anti jw books in the past but franz's books really got to me but not immediately.

Nice work Adamah. But I am afraid you are too good for these guys.
Pelican's detailed response of "Whatever" says much.
Some Bible thumpers are incapable of engaging on anything else other than minutiae of some esoteric meaning of some Greek word that Paul may, or may not, have uttered to a congregation in Upper Asia Minor.

Why are all the crazy Christian fundamentalists on this site incapable of using correct English? Or operating a spelling checker?

Maccauk you seem to be just another religious nutter, spewing forth the results of your 'special' understanding of bible 'prophecy'.
Your posts are turgid, tiresome and completely uninteresting.
