If a nuke hits Washington, will your life change?
by Mindchild inas you may or may not know, the bush administration has set up a shadow government in the usa, with its memebers already securely located in underground bunkers and now we are learning that washington dc is being surrounded radiation and gamma ray detectors which would tip off the delta forces on standby that a nuclear weapon had been brought into the area.
the government concedes that they do expect a possible nuclear strike by terrorists.. while it may not come from ben ladin, there are other countries who appear to have made more progress in securing nuclear weapons by either buying them illegally or making their own.
the really bad news is that they also have much more of an incentive now to use them against the usa as our government has launched a war against their countries (i.e.

Yeah, it's called Total Recorder; records anything thru your sound card into MP3 (you have to install MP3 codec afterward they show you where and how) into many different formats, actually.
free trial, then 12 bucks I think. One of the RARE pieces of software I actually laid out money for and was glad I did.

You Know observed:
That's not a sure thing. If a nuclear device is encased in a lead shield or concealed by as little as ten feet of water then it can escape detection. That's what I read on the subject sometime back anyway. There are many ways that clever men could get a bomb into the country and even into D.C.
Just think that could be easily engineered via the transport industry...only 2 per cent of cargo containers on ships are inspected; and once on land they can be trucked anywhere...and you wouldn't necessarily have to be clever.Remember, all it took was nineteen men and a bunch of boxcutters and some timing and brawn to produce the most memorable U.S. event arguably ever. One has to be quite surprised that civilized earth has made it this far, quite frankly, with the tools that truly clever men could muster.
Whose to say that the entire earth couldn't be wiped out? (including JWs of course) Because souls are forms of energy (that can't be destroyed), such a scenario would just go along with the many earth populations that have come and gone for millions or more years. Proof of this is now being unearthed (and unoceaned, if I can coin a word) at a blistering pace.
In such a situation, everyone's gonna be on a level playing field as far as judgements, God, eternity and universal issues are concerned.
I don't think getting an extra 15 minutes in field service next month or willing your assets to the Society is gonna make a whit of difference. It's just a showy display and washing up to your armpits, in my opinion.

Gumby, Ozzy & E-man: I analyzed what you said in your first posts. Gumby said,
"Stop associating with him. Yet do not consider him an enemy, but admonish him as a brother";
Quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother who is a .......
In both of these scriptures the SAME greek word is used for 'stop associating with'. However, the society applies different meanings in these two cases and even changes the wording in NWT.
Both scriptures show you wouldn't RUN with someone of that caliber.
However if one scripture shows to admonish him as a brother, then the same application applies in the other scripture.1st. corinthians 5:11 was a case of bragging by the sinner AND the congregation of the sin. This was a unique situation that would rarely occur
So I went to the NWT for wording on these, and compared them thru the Society's own Kingdom Interlinear.
2 Thess. 3:14 reads, "If but anyone not is obeying to the word of us through the letter, this (one) be you putting sign on, NOT TO MIX UP SELVES WITH him, in order that he might be turned in; and not as enemy be you considering, but be you putting mind in as a brother."
1 Cor. 5:11 reads, "Now but I wrote to you NOT TO BE MIXING UP SELVES WITH if ever anyone brother being named may be fornicator or covetous (one) or idolater or reviler or drunkard or snatcher, to the such (one) not-but to be eating with."
Yup, your right, the identical Greek is used here in the two scriptures. In order for consistency, the "putting mind in as a brother" would have to be applied to both, yet the NWT has contrarily translated the two, even though the Greek word with the Greek characters are identical in both scriptures.
As Englishman mentioned, anyone handled this way would have no lower status as "a man of the nations" that is, not any different than one who they would meet on the street or call on in the field! Thus the shunning policy is proven unscriptural.

And Bush is being picked on now because he is the one in power at the moment. When the next guy takes over in 2005, I'll start pointing out his lies and propaganda. I'll keep doing this until people wake up to the way they are being taken in by partisan propaganda. Those two sentences above are evidence to me that you have been taken in by conservative propaganda.
Thank you Seeker. Yes, it is both sides. When I was talking with you before, I was very much pro-Bush. It must have been too much Rush Limbaugh. Guilty as charged. Only in the last month or so have I been privy to information as to how much Bush is misled (as he is the big Texas oilman) especially in environmental/energy policies.
Case in point: The administration continues not to persue seriously alternative energy sources: they still bull-headedly want to drill in Alaska, but hydrogen energy sources and wind-power get short shrift. Ironically, even Shell wants to get involved in these new infrastructures, but it's like Bush is turning a deaf ear.
Then, the administration outrageously denies the existence of chem-trails, yet definitive evidence has existed for four years or more that they exist. For example, see

Not only are these chemtrails used as we speak in the Afghan theatre by helping to propagate radar, but I seen some last week in the Detroit area. Be sure to note the pictoral evidence on Art's site as well. These experiements are the greatest health threat we currently face, yet nobody seems to notice them or care about them, for that matter. And the secrecy is sickening.
