  i am considering producing a video version of wt comments.

  this would highlight hot topics in each article in a attractive media-rich presentation.

  the videos would be built in flash using video clips, still images and voice-over audio.

  Just talked to Witnesses at my door for Hour about Watchtower Child Abuse

  it happened again like in july when i talked to an elder and his wife about child abuse, but this time i got a hold of rank and file members who fortunately i was able to play like a fiddle as they had no idea what they were up against here.

  so brother middle age ex-hippie convert ( as he told me later ) and sister middle age hair in a bun offered me the awake on death or our view of death.

  i graciously accepted gaining their trust saying yes, i had close loved ones who had died over the years but didn't know if i believed in a resurrection or hereafter.

  everything about my life that i post on this board, is, i am ashamed to say, true.

  bringing a lesbian punk rocker to the meeting, getting high at the convention and posting pictures of two men kissing, making out with a chick in the kh parking lot with the security cameras rolling.... all true.

  with the rash of frauds on this board, i just had to chime in to tell people that my volatile, drama filled life is true, because not a lot seems like it's true on this board anymore.

  i recently had a conversation with a jw relative, to which i have not spoken to in a while.

  like always, the conversation turned to religious beliefs, and what am i doing these days, to which i responded i am just doing my own thing.

  i said what happened with me, was over 20 years ago.

  If I am understanding your question correctly....I would say that I am not a "run of the mill" anything....but have developed a MUCH stronger sense of my relationship with Jesus Christ than I EVER had as a JW. I spent 30 long years slaving for a publishing company that told me I was pleasing God by how many meetings I attended and how many hours I put in every month.

  I have an entirely new outlook on myself and where I stand spiritually. I never felt this when I was in the WTS. I never felt I was good enough or have DONE enough every day I woke up and it tooks its toll on me eventually.

  I was not disfellowshiped but left on my own after a few months of seeing all the WTS misdeeds and blunders on the internet....but I am treated like pondscum and shunned by all JWs because I no longer attend the Kingdom Hall with them, so I can't really speak to the statute of limitations that a truly DFed person experiences.

  Just be thankful that you are OUT of this braindead group with cult mentality.

  And such language! From a dedicated servant of JEHOVAH! Isn't obscene language grounds for disfellowshipping?

  And using such disparaging talk about Jehovah's Firstborn?

  I can't help but think that we all thought this when reading her less than eloquent remarks, LOL! It certainly does not sound like pearls of wisdom representing the "ambassadors the Christ" that JWs claim to be. I think if *I* was writing back to her, I would definitely make that a point to bring out to her.

  For those of of that were trapped in the WTS for 30 or more years....we get the same type of nonsense thrown at us as well! It makes no difference how long one was in it! I had one JW tell me a short while ago (after I had mentioned I had a 30-year stint in the WTS army) that there must be something wrong with ME if it took me thirty years to figure it out!

  Hmmm, come to think of it.....maybe she was right after all.
