Actually Barrell Bonds is right ;) ... As I remember these rules it is really the case... They do not need extra copies though so they still destroy a lot of things

Comment from my dad, "They are smarter than me."
by Faithful Witness inmy jw (converts of about 5 years) came over on thursday and ate a turkey dinner with us.
we didn't call it thanksgiving, but that was obviously what it was.
they were proud to give me my own copy of the new revised and improved nwt bible.

Is asking questions of logic about a Global Flood effective in waking loved ones?
by BU2B ini was thinking about using a tactic of asking questions revolving around "noahs flood" to try to start my wife doing some serious thinking.
unlike doctrine that cannot often be proven one way or another, this issue can be proven beyond the slightest doubt that it is impossible.. i was thinking about asking a question something like this "i was reading about coral reefs today, and they sure are amazing!
what amazed me the most is how long it takes for them to build the reef, and how long they live!

It is much easier to ask them why the hell animals need to die? One of the core beliefs is the fact that Death came into the world because of Sin. But how the hell can animals sin if they have no knowledge?

JW morale reaching new low
by kneehighmiah inmany friends i've spoken with are becoming discouraged.
because of this it's becoming tempting to privately share my views with friends, but i know this is still too dangerous.
most witnesses in my circle are intelligent free thinkers.

Well... even more bizare about the flood theory and the sudden explosion of human beings within 120 years I have also always wondered how the hell the aborigals came to australia... I mean... that is a shitty end to swim! ... or what about some tribes in africa who do not even have a language... it just does not make sense at all

@Cofty... You do not understand me... I am not a theist (but also not an atheist) and am open for any enquiry and any conversation about the topic. I personally think that in some way processes have been started by someone ... just for the fun of it and left to evolve... the universe itself evolves all the time... so why not a smaller scale like in humans... even on atomic level it evolves/degenerates etc... it is a process but it started somewhere.

Well... he may believe in a creator alright (so do I) but not in an eminent creator (like theists). There is nothing wrong with the intelligent design theorie but as soon as bibles and qurans come into place it creates problems.

Why do so many think JW Religion is a Cult? (NO APOSTATES PLEASE)
by Brother Mike inmy question is, why do so many think the watchtower bible tract society is a cult?
.

Your question actually betrays the fact that you yourself seems in doubt that it is a cult.
You (Brother Mike) seems not to know exactly who is an apostate. If you want a TRUE answer open your mind. And be honest: who can really know if he hadn't been a JW? It is these bellringers, these insiders who do know best since they have been there. Some were even as "high" as a GB member...
I understand your reluctance to listen to "former"-JW's but maybe it helps to see us as "fellow humans" and not as enemy. We actually are probably the JW's best friends!
