  finally awake - "me! I'm spending the day planting seeds for my garden. i will have tomatos this year!"

  Same here! Saturday is allotment day. Busy digging and sowing veg seed. 'I planted, wifey watered, and nature made em grow!' mmmmm tomatoes!

  Why you CAN'T make sense of it.

  going through an dealing with a mentally ill spouse (living hell, long story, pm me if you want details), and talking to others who have dealt with the mentally ill, i've come to an epiphany.. you cannot make sense of "crazy".

  that's why, when you get out of the wt, get out of the mind control, and try to reason with your loved ones or friends, it will not work.

  we are dealing with people under mind control and i believe that is a close cousin of mental illness.

  You make a valid point Baltar. I think most cults pray on vulnerable people with promises of a better life. They get love bombed etc. But what they dont get from a cult is reasonable help and answers to how THEY are feeling. Its all about slaving for the borg. If you are depressed, DO MORE PREACHING!

  The issues people have are repressed and not dealt with, until they surface years later as severe mental problems. The human mind can only take so much pressure until it pops.

  Am I correct in saying that it is up to the will maker to show anyone they want what their will contains? Sounds a bit cloak and dagger? A roundabout way of saying "dont show anyone the will, they might make you change it"

  We aren`t going. Havnt been to one in 5 years. We dont even get an invite. My suits probably dont fit anyway! My mums invited us to dinner on saturday though. I know from my Dad that we will definately get an invite this year.

  She`s a uber dub who kinda smirks when she asks what someone believes in. Then she laughs in their face if its a christendom religion. You know the type of j dub i mean. I love her to bits, but, i know its not the real person. She has severe ocd, shouts at my 13 year old sister all the time, and constantly goes in the service. She has no life outside the org. I think shes lost control of her own life because shes given it all to the faithless and not so discreet slave pedo ring.

  So now i have to say no, we are NOT going to play happy families by going to an apostate charade. After all, its only to make her look good as our rescuer from this wicked world. Why do the "unbelievers" have to be the ones to walk on egg shells to keep the peace with the so called believers? I for one, will stand up for what i believe. And be very proud.

  personally i hate it when you come face to face with someone disfellowshiped and you can't do a simple acknowledgement or greeting.

  they are obviously making an effort to be there to be reinstated.

  as i recall back in the 1970's they did allow this but what is always the case some took advantage of this provision and in engaged in full blown conversations.

  Of the 4 congs we`ve been in, it has always been policy for disso`d peeps to sit at the back. Apparently its to help them cope with the shame and slip in and out of the hall without people staring at them. I personally think its bollocks. Every single person i knew that was d/shipped i had conversations with.

  When me and Free and Happy got married in 91, there was a spate of our peers getting d/shipped. I made a point of talking to them when i could. People make mistakes, but they shouldnt have to keep paying for them with constant shaming. Thats cruel, you wouldnt even do it to a dog.
