  But something to be concerned about, is that there already have been followers who commit suicide because of how they been treated in the Bereanos Pickets.

  It’s unfortunate that some people get involved in religious cults that lead their members to a point of suicide. Bereanos Pickets is just of of many cults that destroys people’s lives.

  There are several studies that try to estimate how many religious cults there are in the USA. And it is a very difficult task But according to a collection of studies compiled by the International Cultic Studies Association, back in the 90s if I remember correctly, there were over 10,000 religious cults in the USA. Members were anywhere from the hundreds to millions.

  Besides religious cults, there are Political, and other different cults that trap people, and many of these cults coerce people to commit suicide, like the People’s Temple did.

  The way many Governments structure their laws on freedom of religion to avoid conflict among the masses, is they allow anyone to worship anyway they want. And they base this assumption on the fact that ADULTS should know better than to get involved with a religious group that can harm them in one way or another.That's why in the USA, if an adult refuses a Blood Transfusion even though he will die if he doesn't get one, the Government allows him base on the fact that he is an Adult and should know better.
  

  The Government can’t behave like parents when dealing with adults. Adults should be mature enough to perceive dangerous groups and stay away from them.

  There is no way you or I or anyone else can convince the members of Bereanos Pickets that they are in a dangerous cult. More than likely they will die for their leader. All we can really do is protect ourselves and try to protect our families. But that's about it. We have to let adults make their own choices.

  Bereanos Pickets is no doubt responsible for a few suicides. But Just imagine how the Watchtower has been responsible for the death of millions with their policies on Blood, Neutrality, preaching to strangers, disfellowshipping, which has also led to many suicides. Yet it is practically impossible to convince the members they are in a dangerous cult. But they are Adults, and the repercussions lay on themselves.

  I know it sounds cold, but that’s just the reality of life.

  Nothing to be concern about.

  Isn't the founder of Beroean Pickets like hitting 80?

  The current life expectancy for males in the U.S. in 2024 is 79.25 years, a 0.18% increase from 2023.

  The Jehovah he worships is not going to extend his life to continue the work.

  Just like Jehovah didn't extend the life of Charles Russell or the entire Generation that saw and understood 1914.

  Because Jehovah is a character created by ancient people. No different than Captain America being created by Joe Simon and artist Jack Kirby for Timely Comics, which later became known as Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in Captain America Comics #1, published in March 1941.

  Scam Marketing !

  we are constantly being attacked by scam marketers who create a perceived need , not a real one, and hence create within us a want.

  if we fill our desire for that thing or things by buying in to it, we then end up with totally unnecessary expense.

  we have been scammed.. whether that be something to do with the latest fashions and trends, the latest 'phone, car or something similar.. the longest running, and most lucrative marketing scam in all human history has been religion.

  Religion is here because our life span is so short.....70 or 80 plus years.

  It's first victims are young people who have no idea what's going on and just go with the flow

  By the time they hit 50 or 60 they realize they've been scammed by groups like the Watchtower, but it's too late, your life has been used up.

  By the time you're 50-80, you're wise enough to know better and never be scammed again. And you try to pass that knowledge along but it too late, Mother Time has come calling and finally you're gone.

  Young ones are born and the cycle begins all over.

  If we lived a couple of millenniums, no one could scam anybody. We would know all the tricks.
  

  Maybe it was intentional to be created this way if there was some sort of Creator or Creators.

  There's only so much room in the universe for immortal beings.The more immortal beings, the more Drama. Just like humans.

  this is an excellent thread to read that i saw yesterday and the poster hits the nail on the head and tells it so well.

  he is really knocking pimi witnesses and has a lot of well deserved criticisms about them.. he says he hopes at this point that they never wake up….

  60s, 70s and 80s.

  That is the age of JWs that are still in, and can't or don't want to wake up.

  Because they've given all their life to serve the 10 or more old white men in NY that they've never met. 70-80-90 plus years down the drain and they will never get them back Many of these fellows let their wives die instead of saving them with a blood transfusion. As well as children and husbands who needed one.

  There is a few old jws in their 90s that have woken up and posted their experience on reddit, but it's only two or three and they are devastated. One just wanted to commit suicide. Never heard from him again So I think it's better for those jws to never wake up.

  And me personally I blame the Bible more than the Watchtower. That book has cause so many deaths through out two millenniums. The Catholic inquisitions cause more harm than the Watchtower because they tortured people who wouldn't accept their "Biblical interpretations for hundreds of years.

  The Crusades cause so many deaths of innocent men, women and children.

  All religions today are in a competitive race to see who can accumulate the most property with the donations of it's members.

  If I believed in the Devil, the bible would be his main book to mislead humanity.

  my mom got sleepy and we put her to bed but the three sisters stayed to finish their drinks..

  i believe that his involvement in propelling or influencing a leaning toward bible prophecy will unfold.

  how, i can’t say but something tells me that this anomaly and outlier being trump is highly signifiant!

  europe is now talking of getting involved in the war to curb the north korean armies that are helping russia.

  putin has warned that this will now give him no choice but to retaliate against nato nations.. the biden administration and the democrats in congress want to make sure that the war escalates to such a point that trump won't be able to bring peace to the war in ukraine.

  I find that Americans who complain about how much money has been spent on the Ukraine-Russian war, fail to recall how many TRILLIONS of dollars the US government gladly spent to send the Soviet Union broke on the arms and space races of 1945 to 1990s

  It’s not that Americans fail to recall the Trillions of dollars the US government spent in 1945. It’s that it makes no sense to recall and cry about something that happened 80 years ago.

  Crying about the past is what Democrats do. They cry about slavery that happened HUNDREDS OF YEARS ago, and now they want EVERY SINGLE WHITE PERSON alive, MAN, WOMEN AND CHILD, to make Reparations or restitution provided to the Decedents of victims of injustice such as slavery. They want compensation in the forms of financial payments, land, or whatever they can take from the white people. It’s call Legalized STEALING AND PLUNDER.

  The population of the United States in 1945 was approximately 139 million people. Of those 139 million people between 50-64% are still alive, most of whom are in their 70s or 80s.

  The average life expectancy at birth in the U.S. is currently estimated to be 77.5 years. This figure varies by sex, with males having a life expectancy of 74.8 years and females 80.2 years.

  So all those Americans living in 1945 are Old Dudes and Gals who will all be gone in the next 10 or so years.

  The estimated population of the United States in 2024 is approximately 341,814,420 not counting all the illegal immigrants when estimates are in the 20-30 million.

  That means that majority of Americans have no idea what happened in 1945 and couldn’t care less what happened in the past. We are concerned with what happens NOW.

  I’m not even 30 years old and do you think I care about all the Atrocities committed by Genghis Kan.

  Genghis Khan is estimated to have killed around 40 million people during his conquests, by Massacre, famine, genocide, and androcide. People couldn’t care less what happened in the past.

  Americans care about what is happening NOW. It’s our time. And it only makes sense to complain about what’s happening TODAY………..NOT WHAT HAPPENED 80 YEARS AGO WHEN MOST OF US WEREN’T EVEN BORN.
