Thanks for letting me know. Now I am going to have to give my friend a very hard time for that stunt. I really don't like it when people pull my leg when it involves children. My eldest went missing for about 20 minutes when he was about 2 years old. Talking about a frantict feeling. Actually I don't know if she knew it was a hoax or not. Weird Origami performed on a $20 Bill

One other thing, after you have folded the $20 bill, look at the back side. You will also see where the pentigon was hit. There were 20 hijackers that day (19 was killed), and if you unfold the $20 bill you will see the other building that the terriorist was going after. But was not hit (the white house), and above the white house it says "In God we trust."

What's the one thing you miss about the WTS?
by Naeblis inthere are times when ilook back fondly on my days in the witnesses, especially when i think on the congregation get togethers we would have every once in awhile (not too often) people from our hall and sometimes others would show up (not too many) and good times were had by all.
this is how the schedule usually went.. 8pm: arrive at the community centre.
8:05pm: scope the room.

I miss taking my 1974 Monti Carlo out in field service. It had no air conditioning. Driving down the durt roads at 90 miles per hour. And listening to "You give love a bad name" or "Armageddonit". And well any of those songs that was popular back in the late 80's or was it the early 90's. Lets just say I was not asked to drive very much after that. he he he. Yea I know I could have been killed, but I'm still here.
I miss the slumber parties I had with my friends. I remember this one movie we was going to watch was vamp movie with Keather Sutherland. That was until lighting struck the house.
I miss making out with my future husband on the staires at the hotel, during the distric convention. Oh yes, can not forget making out with him in the car. Yea I even got caught. And yes she did try to go to the elders about it. But I was done married, and dared her to. I did not care. I got my man. Well I don't really miss that. ha ha ha ha ha Just plesant memories.
I miss on trying to pull the wool over my mom's eyes. Especially after I started dating. Really worked, because I acted dumb when it came to the guys. I also missed checking out the hunks who was doing the same thing. I miss, embarrasing the brothers by wearing a dress with a low cut top. I really miss being able to fit in that dress. I miss being a size 12/14. That I miss the most. Oh well, my babies are worth it, I guess.

None of the halls that I attended ever did that, and I went to quite a number of different congerations. About the only thing that was wrote on the back of the terr. maps was people who did not want us to call back. Even then that was not paid to much attention to.
I do remember this one experance a CO told, that he personally witnessed. There was a car group working this one neiborhood. Every one had finnished working was was meeting back at the car, but two young sisters. After a short bit, they decided they better go and see if they could find them. To make a long story short. The two young sisters was invited into this house. The man had locked them in the basement. When the brothers went to the house, they had to force their way into this house to free they young girls. The police was called. The mas was arrested, and the girls were freed. It was learned later that this man was found guilty of rape and murder of several other young ladies.

Watchtower dissolves congregations?

they say that when the whole congregation is corrupt it is clearly noticable that jehovah's spirit is not with them.
eventually if the whole congregation is corrupt the gb dissolves the whole congregation.. jws say this as if it were from personal experience.

My mom personally knew of one congeration in South Carolina, back in the 1970's who was dissolved. My dad said there was a problem with "wife swapping".
I know of a congeration up in Iowa, who had the whole body of elders disfellowshipped. I was not there when it happened, but different ones in the congeration was still walking on egg shells when I came. I made a comment, I don't remember what I said. But I was quickly corrected, and was told to watch what I was saying. It was then they told me about what had happened. They said that the elders was not teaching what the WTBTS was teaching. Or something to the effect of that.

by silentlambs inas of 1 pm today barb anderson was notified that she has been disfellowshipped in writing by the judicial committee in her congregation.
barb was df in absentia at a second hearing that was declared after she successfully defended herself against charges in the first hearing.
home office came back with further instructions to make it stick the second time around.

"Why certainly! I'll get right on it," said Bush.
"Oh, and one more small favor, please?" said Putin. "Yes?"

Barge Hits I-40 Bridge After Tug Captain Apparently Has Seizure; Deaths Feared

— Authorities hope to search for bodies where a barge collision collapsed an eastern Oklahoma highway bridge, dropping cars and tractor-trailors about 75 feet into the Arkansas River."We have no confirmation of any fatalities, though the people at the bridge say they have seen people in the cars in the water," Gov. Frank Keating told reporters this afternoon.
Searchers expect to find five to 12 bodies in submerged vehicles once divers can thoroughly probe the site near Webbers Falls, Okla., officials told The Associated Press.Survivors, Including Tug Captain
More than a dozen cars and tractor-trailers went into the river, officials estimated. By the time police arrived, local fishermen were pulling victims out of the water.
At least four survivors of the 8 a.m. CT "horrible accident" were hospitalized — including the captain of the tugboat pushing oil barges that hit the bridge's supports, Keating said.
"Apparently, he suffered a seizure or something behind the wheel," causing the collision, Keating said.
This afternoon, cranes were stabilizing 500-foot sections of Interstate 40, which collapsed in both directions, to make conditions safer for emergency personnel. A strong river current and murky underwater conditions also were frustrating searchers.
"We've got everything [at the scene], from boats out on the river to aircraft," Oklahoma Highway Patrol Lt. Brandon Kopepasah said. "We've got just a lot of personnel — medical personnel and rescue personnel — out there."
The collapsed two-lane sections of the bridge could be seen extending from each side of the remaining elevated concrete roadway down into the water. On one side, the roadway rested atop a pair of barges.
The Ground Shook
Local residents, including some at a nearby fishing tournament, said they heard a loud bang and felt the impact.
"This is a quiet Sunday morning and you're sitting there watching the fishermen having a good time," a male resident of the area told ABCNEWS Radio. "And then all of a sudden, you know, you hear this and … you could feel the ground shake."
"We heard the noise and we went running down to the bank," said one woman. "We could see the dust and all that coming from it. And then I saw two cars go off with a big splash."
One victim, a trucker, appeared "hurt" and "in shock," according to a man who said he drove the injured man to a local hospital.
Interstate 40 is the main east-west highway thoroughfare through Oklahoma, and it could be out for a matter of months, officials said. They warned travelers to stay away, and traffic jams were reported in the area today.

Now the unofficial word that is going around. My uncle lives in Arkansas near this area says this is what they (the athorites) are not talking about, but the people are saying. They are saying that terriorist are actually responisble for this. That it is just a cover saying that the man had a seizure, just to keep people from freaking, I am guessing. But for those of you who are not famuliar with this Highway 40. It goes completly through the country from East Coast to West Coast. It is one of the major roadways for the trucking industry. Both east and west bound traffic shut down.
