  i added a post below to janh, number 15, to address some realistic numbers.

  some have had difficulty in accepting the number of victims per pedophile i have used, i.e.

  i based this on what an attorney who prosecutes such cases against molesters told me.

  my youngest son is getting married in 3 weeks to a really annoying .

  young woman, 22. she has add and talks all the time!!

  "asks how I am" for the 10th time

  being forgetful is quite common with ADD people

  A good therapist could be finished with her in 3-6 months.If her insurance will cover it,she'll be glad she went.

  A good book is "Driven to Distraction". Both Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison had ADD, so she's in good company.

  i'm curious to know the empire's current stance on gun ownership.

  when i was in, my stepdad told me what the society said dubs could and couldn't have as far as guns.

  long guns were acceptable, provided they were traditional hunting rifles since that was the only purpose one could have a gun for.

  Who cares what WT. says - they'll do a 180 in a couple months anyway!

  A couple years ago I worked for a dr.He invited me to his retirement party with his friends. He dressed up like a Mafia guy, white suit, hat, cigar, and "took out" his pager with his machine gun. Swore he'd never have a pager again.It was great.

  Don was my new-boy instuctor 20 yr. ago. He was aloof but polite.Lived on the same floor with him and his wife in 107 Bldg. rode the elevator together."How are you? Fine" That's what are conversations were every day.He was Knorr's secretary at the time.Both he and his wife were very private.

  McVeigh vs Death Penalty

  i am a policitcal conservative, at least a fiscal conservative and sociel moderate.

  i support the death penalty, but i agree that our judicial system needs to overhaul how wwe treat criminals to achieve better rehabilitation results.

  and of course, withhold the death penalty in cases where there could be doubt.. in mcveigh's case, i believe that he deserves the death penalty.

  for those who "grew up in the borg"

  at this late, middle stage of my life, i've started wondering, now that i know what i know, about the things in my life that i "lived" with.

  having been raised all my life in the "borg" i have known nothing else.

  when questions began forming years ago, it started me thinking.

  ABUSE

  Anyone remember in the 60's with the Evolution book being forced to visit all the teachers at school with it? Christ didn't even start preaching till he was an adult.
  Mom didn't trust me when she dropped me off at school,she knew where the teachers lounge was, so she just waited outside in the car till she actully saw her son obey WT. and enter the lounge. I barely got 2 sentences out before the 6th grade teacher & principal says,"None of that stuff here."

  Major Trauma

  One was continually programmed to doubt oneself,thereby pushing the ORG. as the answer to all problems in life. Growing up in 3rd & 4 th grade I hated TUE. & Thur meeting nites. If I fell asleep I'd get belted at home.It would take Dad a few minutes to park the car after he let us out at home. I'd race to my bedroom, strip clothes and jump in bed and turn out the lite.It still didn't work,he'd come in and belt me for sleeping through spiritual food.What a crazy religion.My big fantasy as a kid was, if I survived Armageddon walk up to King Solomon right after he was resurrected and beat the crap out of him for writing,"yeah you can beat your kid, he won't die" then ask him how it feels.

  Not sure I can handle the anger anymore

  i am over 30 and have been out of the "organization" for almost 14 years now.

  my father is an elder who's main concern is kissing up to the c.o.

  so he can move up the ranks and be important.

  Professor-"my parents almost literally hate me"

  I felt that, my mother was so cruel to me on her deathbed some yrs. ago. I realized she was very gullible,and likewise a programmed robot. And yes it hurt. Looking back I should had a good mentor or shrink to help me out. I suggest the same for you, you'll grow much quicker and learn how to manage your anger.

  Maybe you can do things for your parents that will show your unconditional love for them, thereby setting the example for them. "Amazing" has an article over at Freeminds.org on "how I got my family out" Maybe you can ask your folks questions from time to time that will get them to think!

  I wish you success as you take 100% control of your life, giving WT. 0 %.

  On another note WT. will never get rid of shunning as that's what holds the religion together. If witnesses could talk to apostates,all Wt. lies would be known to all.
