happy is that slave if his master on arriving finds him doing so.
Many JW women are recognized as "of the anointed" yet according to JW's they have no authority to be in charge of anything in the congregation, because of their gender.
Yet according to JW beliefs they are recognized by Jehovah God and Christ Jesus as having authority to rule with him in the heavens for a thousand years ?
So the Almighty and his Son acknowledge them with authority to rule but not the GB of Jehovah`s Witnesses ?

this was inspired by a recent post by nike and the comments that followed re gender balance in the org.
if jw's accept the concept that the gb continue to push - that people only become believers if they are "rightly disposed" and are thereby "drawn by god.".
then given the huge gender imbalance and also the huge differences in percentages of jw in some lands vss others only two things can possible follow from that:.
However if GOD doesn`t exist then it could come down to emotion/feelings and or a standard of educational level,don`t you think ?

It`s only since I left the Borg and found site`s like this that I realized the JW`s were never witnesses for Jehovah they were always witnesses for the Watchtower .
Hopefully it`s just another sign of the eventual end of this cult.

went to the meeting last night with my believing wife.
the co was visiting and delivered a really cult-ish talk on loyalty but that's another story.. they made the announcement that starting january 1st they were going to have only 3 congregations in this town instead of 4.. they are dissolving one and growing the territories of the remaining 3. the reason given is that many of the elders are getting up there in age and can't do what they used to do.
basically not enough elders and ministerial servants...or even men reaching out for that matter.

we all know that this cult will drive those trying to leave to desperate measures, and today by brother was very nearly one of those statistics.
he slashed his thigh with a kitchen knife and was bleeding out until he called the police.. i got a call on my way home from work from a police officer, coincidentally it was one of my old friends from school who's now a cop.
he told me my brother is in hospital after an attempted suicide and has lost some blood but will be ok. but i should get to the hospital as he's asking for me.
I`m sorry you had to go through that PE ,my thoughts are with you,I hope your brother comes out of this experience alright.

we have numerous resources online to draw jws in so that they will wake up.
however, i've noted some radical methods that have been used by fellow exjws, and quite frankly, this must stop.
If God is able to listen to the prayers of billions of people (as all religions teach), then it must equally be easy for God to communicate with all people simultaneously. Without going for such an easy option, why does He use people like you to communicate with other people?
