The KI translation of the greek text printed and published by the WTB&TS in the word for word rendering says "the word was God" their interpretation of that scripture added "a" before God.
i am looking for someone to please clear this up.
there are scriptures like in the 1 corinthians chapter 5 that refer to jesus as “our lord jesus”.
the lord is jehovah, why does that scripture in 1 corinthians refer to the lord as jesus?

exodus 15:3, "the lord is a man of war: the lord is his name.

Getting back to topic the WT/JW has always favored interpretation over translation.Just look at the KI translation of The Christian Greek Scriptures where they add the name Jehovah where it does not exist in their own KI .translation of the New Testament.
The simple fact is ALL religions favor interpretation over what is written in Scripture that is why we have over 40,000 different sects all claiming to be Christian religions.
Edit to add :The New testament /Christian Greek scriptures has over 30 scriptures specifically naming Jesus who Christians are to be witnesses of/for or about
Their is not one scripture in the New Testament /Christian Greek Scriptures that states Christians are to be witnesses of Jehovah ,not one.
The name Jehovah does not appear in the Christian Greek Scriptures
The Tetragrammaton does not appear in the Christian Greek scriptures
Jesus Christ 30+ Jehovah God 0
It`s an interpretation by JW`s/GB over Translation.
i can't believe this is taking place in our country!
all across america there are areas where people are trying to enforce christian law!
outsiders are strictly forbidden from entering and they have private security and guards to keep people out.
Maybe they are scared of the Muslim / Islam influence taking hold in the USA or the threat of it taking hold I should say.
i googled it and pretty much my understanding is the same as what i imagine.
no one really knows, your guess is as good as the next.
interesting thought to consider imo..
What if the crucifixion never took place..
Then Jesus Christ would be still roaming with us today
Why is that ? because he had no sin ? And he was perfect ?
The Bible states that the wages of sin (Adamic sin is death) therefore once you have died you are free from Adams sin
The bible identifies at least a couple of people who were resurrected therefore they were now without sin however they apparently died ,why ? as they were now sinless.? And perfect ?
Adam was perfect before he sinned ,a resurrected person who inherited Adams sin was released from that after he was resurrected ,therefore restoring his perfection ,so those humans who were resurrected should also still be alive and roaming the earth today
But we know that is not the case.
many people of all denominations are beginning to believe that hell does not exist - but the bible supports the claim that it does.
examine this verse, one under nkjv and the other nwt:.
nkjv - matthew 25:46, "and these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.".
I know all the usual arguments about the YHWH/Jesus combo god being able to preserve the scriptures, but if that's the case, why didn't they preserve the original texts?
Maybe it`s simply because they never ever really existed either !
exodus 15:3, "the lord is a man of war: the lord is his name.
" kjv, esv, asv.. exodus 15:3, "jehovah is a powerful warrior.

LOL nowwhat , his word the Bible clearly shows Jehovah is obsessed with Blood human or animal he`s not fussy he just doesn`t seem to get enough of it to satisfy him.
Apparently he is about to slaughter another 8 Billion + people in the near future ,is he going to spare the animals this time around ?
i saw an article in the news yesterday that laws are going to be passed subjecting the police to being recorded by anyone while performing their duty or enforcing the law and encourages citizens to sue if they interfere.
some law enforcement agents become angry and confiscate recording devices from people recording them while making an arrest, etc.. it does seem that the work that the police and other government agents do is public and not private or confidential so there should be nothing to hide from the cameras.
on the other hand, how can one distinguish being shot by a camera or by a weapon until one is hit?.
It is happening already isn`t it ? How many times in the past have Law Enforcement officers been sprung by using excessive force on a "victim" by someone who is using a mobile phone to record the incident ?
So a definite YES from me .
what do you sincerely think?
do you nurture any hope?.
According to the Bible at least a couple of humans have been resurrected to life from death and apart from the fact that the Bible says the wages of sin is death then these resurrected ones would be deemed sinless therefore they should not have died again, however apparently they did.
In any case none of these resurrected ones ever had anything to say about their experience or non experiences while in the death state.
Here I might take exception to what Jesus said, words to the effect that when your dead is if you are asleep and know nothing , well I don`t know about Jesus when he`s asleep ,but when I`m asleep I have another life.
I dream, sometimes they are amazing and can be quite bazaar but I am alive and doing things and inter-acting with other people in my dreams { wet dreams can be most pleasant }
So to answer the OP I guess I`ll know or won`t know when I kick the bucket.
here is a good article on bloodless medicine.
i have weighed in with my thoughts, and encourage others to do the same:.

An interesting article Lee and I agree with your observation/comment and it is my belief that the patient is under pressure to involve the liasion committee in any decision they make.
In other words they are co-erced to follow WT/JW beliefs in the matter
