2024 Annual Meeting Doctrinal Change

this isn't a transcript of his whole speech but i thought i would try and get some of his main speech in writing.. at around 1hr26 minutes he starts talking about some dangerous thinking in feeling there is some wiggle room in regards to the schedule for the gt.

but you see, we need to be careful about what we are thinking about the number of anointed ones left on earth.

Well up until now, we've said the one thought is their desire to turn on false religion. And we can understand that because the context is talking about the destruction of false religion. But you see, if you look back at that verse, what is the one thought? Now this means we have to adjust our understanding. Another change. What does it say? The one thought refers to the nations being willing to hand over power, their political power, to the scarlet coloured wild beast, the United Nations.

What fools the GB are and even bigger fools are those that follow them.

They are saying now that they need to adjust their understanding/make a change, based on actually reading what the verses say.

If JWs actually read the Bible and followed what it said instead of what the WTS/GB say, then they would have known all along what the verses said.

So up until now we have assumed these 10 Kings represent all the political powers and governments in the World at the moment. That they did this during the last days by supporting first of all, the league of nations and then the UN.
But now, what do we understand this to be seeing how we understand Vs 17? Well there will come a time when all political powers on earth, which includes many who have never been part of the 7 world powers. They will see that they need to collectively pool their power by giving it to the UN to try to solve some of the problems in the World. And they will rule, notice what does it say? For one hour, just a short period of time.

I can see the countries giving their power to the wild beast.

I can see that happening as well. But the WTS claims that they do just out of the blue. They don't acknowledge that it will take WW3 to be the pretext for giving the UN the power.

And then they don't acknowledge that when the UN gets this authority, it is the fulfillment of Rev 13:5 and all that goes along with that regarding the MOTB, etc.

They will never admit that because they claim (LIE) that those 42 months of authority to the beast took place back in Oct 1914 - April 1918.

What happens if the BRICS bloc keeps growing to the point of potentially leading to a fragmentation of influence that could weaken the UN's authority as we know it?

That is the case with BRICS and the powers that be will not let that happen, that's why WW3 has to happen soon to prevent that.

Probably putting new ones in place now because a few old ones may step down before they kill over (or for when they do). These guys don't look the healthiest.

the jw idea that believers are destined either for heavenly life or for endless life on earth comes in for significant criticism by critics of various kinds.

even some groups, such as the christadelphians, who share belief in a future paradise earth, don’t share the view that some christians are destined for life in heaven.

yet there is surprisingly quite a lot of evidence in the bible for the existence of two distinct groups of believers.

i am one who never wanted to bring reproach on god's name.

i will admit using the word jehovah now makes me feel rather icky...like i am promoting a lie of sorts.

It's not about how other languages translate it. If you start off with any Hebrew name said/spelled correctly and another language has its grammar rules and alphabet, etc. and they say this is how we would say/spell that name in our language, whatever they say/write at that point based on their own language would be fine as long as they are starting with the correct name in Hebrew to begin with.

The issue is that it is said that for God's name that the consonants יהוה YHVH are known but the vowels are not because the name stop being pronounced/read aloud.

My point is looking at names that never stopped being pronounced/read that are said to contain in them part of God's name in either the prefix or subfix.

When it comes to the prefix of these names you see יהו YHV.

When it comes to the subfix of these names you see יה YH.

The vowels used for prefix יהו YHV are e and o and in all cases the V is replaced with the vowel.

3092. Yehoshaphat יהושפט

3091. Yehoshua יהושע

The vowel used for subfix יה YH is a.

3470. Yshayah ישעיה

5166. Nechemyah נחמיה

Based on those names and vowels used and rule for replacing V as it is a placeholder you have this:

What evidence is there for a biblical jesus?

is there any independently verified evidence that a miracle worker called jesus existed and did the things that the bible said he did?.

the four gospels were written by unknown authors many decades after the so called events, so can't be considered as eyewitness accounts.

i think that there may have been a apocalyptic preacher who was executed by the romans and the story evolved from their.

About a year ago, when someone said Watchtower would fall because Jesus is tearing it down at Jehovah's command, no one believed it. They said it was practically impossible.

When Watchtower is dissolved, will you still deny that Jesus had it torn down?

How is the WTS any less (in the process of being torn down) today than it was a year ago?

Where scripturally speaking does it show that the WTS gets torn down any more or less than any other religion?

When YOU write/use the English name Jehovah, rather YOU are referring to the Hebrew or Greek Scriptures, YOU are using the English version from the Hebrew יהוה, not the Greek nor any other.

So why not at least spell/say that English version of the Hebrew name correctly? (Jehoah) יהוה

Why not write/say the English version of Jesus' true Hebrew name? (Jehoshua) יהושע

Notice the Hebrew letters are the same 4 as God's name with a 5th one that represents the D.

If we take the Hebrew letter out for the D, we are left with the same letters of God's name, יהוה YHVH.

If we take the D out of Yehudah, it is Yehuah.

Now remember that the U there replaced the placeholder V and it could have been an O but instead the U was used because it was followed by a D, but when followed by an H an O is used, as in Yehoah.
