Yes, I went through a smilar event. I was raped by my stepfather, and when the committee got me in that back room, they destroyed all that was left of me with their leering questions. I felt like they were sorry they couldn't have actually witnessed the event(s) themselves. I got the impression they would have joined in. One of them had a WOODY and his eyes were glazed. I was only sixteen years old when that happened. It was worse than the actual rape. Shortly after that it was announced from the platform that I has been DA'd for conduct unbecoming of a Christian. About 10 years later I caught one of them reading a copy of Penthouse. I guess the sisters just weren't tittilating enough in that back room. *** Krazylady***

I need some input...

hi everyone, something has been on my mind lately and i would really appreciate some comments.

i've posted a few topic discussions on my story as a dub, recent dicoveries of wt tampering with the bible translations they use and the subsequent emotions that came from learning that so many things i was taught growing up are lies, and about visiting various churches (chuck swindoll etc).

here's what has been on mind the last few days.

Hi, I just wanted to add that I agree with Sentinel. You are suddenly plugged in to the universe. It doesn't matter how it happened, it matters THAT it happened. Go with it. The journey on a non-spiritual level wasn't so great, was it? So now you are more spiritual. Ain't it Great? You are enjoying the benefits of two-way communication with the I AM. I understand your dilema here. I think you've gotten a bit off track maybe. It doesn't matter to Jesus in YOUR life how other people react to being "saved". He doesn't want you to be led by other people, but by Him. You don't require 'scientific evidence'. You Know you are being directed by the Divine.

There is all kinds of 'scientific evidence' that near death experiences are just some misfiring of the dying brain, but I don't need to pay the slightest attention to it. WHY? Because I had my own near death experience 30 years ago, at a time when I didn't even believe in heaven or anything remotely resembling life after physical death. I am here to tell you, that experience changed me. I began to see things very differently. It was truly the beginning of my deprogramming. Did it miraculously and immediately set me free? No. But it sure changed the direction of my life forever.

You will make your own journey of discovery. It does not depend on anyone else's journey. It only depends on YOU and the direction you are led. I understand the need to connect with other like-minded individuals. But don't be afraid to also connect with people who are NOT so connected. Your destiny may be to show some of them by your example that there is MORE. The journey you are on will last your whole life. So enjoy the scenery!!! And have faith.

As Voltarire said, "Faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. It is not enough that a thing be possible for it to be believed."

for some time now, we have discussed and expressed our outrage and horror at child molestation.

(((((DR))))) I know the courage it took for you to speak up for the little boys. My younger brother was molested by an Aunt and I don't think it will ever cease to haunt him. My son was also molested, by Elders. He is just so damaged by this horrible crime. When I put lambs on KH doorsteps, it is not just for the little girls, it is for my brother, my son, and you. When I hold my son and try to comfort him, I will also be thinking of you. You will always be in my prayers.

it's been about 6 months since my last post.

In my personal opinion, you are right, it is a Satanic cult. BUT...it will not serve you well to use such opinions in any court. The question in the court will not be about religion, good or bad, but about the best place for your children to reside. If you start talking about Satanic cults, or bashing her religion in any way, you will come off looking like a lunatic to the judge (who may be a free mason himself) as he is bound by law to uphold her right to freedom of religion. Get the best lawyer money can buy, and keep your cool.

I know all about the lies they will tell a court of law. When I read a transcript of my parents divorce and custody hearings, I was sickened by the lies my father told the court to get custody of me. That was when I lost all respect for him. He didn't trust his god enough to tell the truth and let the chips fall. I was eight years old when my father got custody of me, and I was 15 when I found out how he did it. I promptly left his house and moved in with my mother. The kids will come around, as long as you don't give in to the temptation to lose your cool. It may take time, but I believe it was Confusious who said, "A lie has short legs. The truth will outrun a lie."

But eventually, she might change her mind, and when she does, you might have changed yours too. As a mother, I could NEVER turn my back on my child!! You have lots of friends here, and some of us, myself included, would be so proud to have a daughter like you!! Keep your chin up, Luv, it will get easier with time.

Shunning? What About The Children??

i was d'fd 18 months ago, i was prepared for the shunning within my family and the borg of all my friends (as i never associated with "worldly people") but i have been totally blown away with how nobody cares about my 2 young children!!.

my kids have not heard from their aunties and uncle since i was thrown out in feb '01.

I am so sorry to hear about the pain they are inflicting on your children. It is a form of "theocratic warfare". They hurt you and control you through your children. I remember when my sister told Mom that she wasn't going to the meetings anymore. Mom grabbed a rifle and pointed at my sister's baby. She said she might as well kill her now as wait for Jehovah to do it at armageddon. She told my sister and I that all children outside of the organization would die. Only children whose parents were in good standing with the JW's would survive. Since I was dissassociated, I was dead and so were my children. Well, I kept sending my kids to the hall and oh God, how I wish I had NOT done that! I guess it was ok in their minds to rape dead kids. (Isn't there a biblical law regarding necrophilia? Maybe not) Anyhow, my advice to you is>>>KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AWAY FROM THE KINGDOM HALL. You never know what kind of pervert lurks there.

Wow, makes you think doesn't it? How will my parents deal with the inevitable fall of their organization. They will have no place to go, and they will have to face the realization that they have been taken in by a collosial fraud. I feel sorry for them. There are things they could never tell me the truth about because they feared being disfellowshipped. I am starting to understand the predicament they are in. They were both born into the cult and have never in their lives known any other way of life. Both are now in their 70's. I hope I can be of some help for them in the turmoil to come.
