1/25 WT: Oral and Anal sex are a go - if she's ok with it
by neat blue dog inhe will not pressure her to engage in sexual acts that make her feel uncomfortable, that are demeaning, or that bother her conscience..... the bible does not provide details as to what sexual practices between a husband and a wife should be considered clean or unclean.
a christian couple must make decisions that reflect their resolve to honor jehovah, to please each other, and to maintain a clean conscience.
generally speaking, a couple would not discuss with others this intimate aspect of their marriage..

When I was in, as a young married woman, I ignored what the WT said, and kept my mouth shut.

What made you look behind the jw curtain?
by Touchofgrey ini was listening to a lunchtime call in radio show about jws and the personal experiences of being disfellowshiped, and a former elder called in saying he was disfellowshiped for asking about jws and their involvement in the un in the 1990s ,and he just said look it up.. thinking that it was a made up lie ,so i looked it up and it was true even a letter confirming it from the un itself and that led me here and to jwfacts and further research into the history and teachings of jw and walked out the door about 5 years ago.

I am a born in, and had this religion shoved down my throat every damn day. Because it was drummed into me from infancy, I believed it was the “truth”. However, at the same time, the very fiber of my being told me something was off. I also decided, at age 4, that this religion was forced on me, but some day, (it seemed so far away) I would grow up and make my own choices. I planned to leave on my 18th birthday, but unfortunately, I met a guy who was just coming in. I really had the hots for him, and we got married. The marriage didn’t work out. This made a dent in my plans, but, after the divorce, I started to work a full time job to support myself, and, as soon as I was able to pay rent without help, about 25 years old, I got an apartment far away from the town where I was a JW. Just moved out, didn’t say a word to anyone, and never stepped foot into a KH again.
it was after I left, (and I felt a huge weight off of me), I looked at “apostate” literature. And I was pretty surprised that it wasn’t true after all, just a man made cult. So, my feelings as a young kid were correct, after all. I’ve been out 40 years now, have a Catholic husband of 35 years, and will never go back to this 👿 evil religion. Glad to be on these forums, for me it is validation that my feelings were right, after all.

The World Today
by peacefulpete ini've been meaning to share some recent experiences that defy the usual tropes about the 'world gone to hell' or 'people now days".. as some of you may remember i was seriously ill for a while and had to close my business and shop.
now, as it seems i have beaten it, i put up a sign again advertising that in a limited way i'm back.. what amazes me is how many times over the past 2 years customers and even competition have written and called to express their concern and best wishes.
just last week i had a personal visit of someone who i thought of as a rival, come in and shake my hand sincerely happy to see me up and around.

THE PROBLEM WITH THESE 2 NEW GB MEMBERS APPOINTMENTS
by raymond frantz inhttps://youtu.be/rjr0ugtu6zu?si=d3zsz20ee33gytxi.
these new appointments are troubling, to say the least, especially considering the factors surrounding their selection.
these appointments raise key concerns about leadership, experience, and what is happening behind the scenes at the organization's headquarters.

Rattigan, someone downvoted you. I think it was one of the new GB members. 😂😂

JWN, 23 years posting Blondie
by blondie incan i call you friends, i think so after 23 years posting here.
i am dismayed how jwn is being "dominated" or taken over by a few posters, peppering the comments.
in the past, the admin did not approve of this and did remove some posters from jwn.

Thanks, Blondie! Many of us feel the same way. 😊

Proof of two destinies for believers in the Bible, heavenly and earthly
by slimboyfat inthe jw idea that believers are destined either for heavenly life or for endless life on earth comes in for significant criticism by critics of various kinds.
even some groups, such as the christadelphians, who share belief in a future paradise earth, don’t share the view that some christians are destined for life in heaven.
yet there is surprisingly quite a lot of evidence in the bible for the existence of two distinct groups of believers.

Where is Tony?
by Athanasius inon february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.
a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.
in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

I think we are curious about him, because he was so out there with some things that came out of his pie hole. Like, “The greater the university, the greater the danger”. And, the “vanish like smoke” video. Also, bottlegate.
