  hi friends.. lots going on in my life.

  i've been busy and thus post seldom these days.. my health -- my right leg is still giving me trouble but not nearly as bad as it was.

  i see a chiropractor once a week and that helps a great deal.

  What are some of the lousiest jobs out there?

  i think that any job that involves customer service or dealing with the public really sucks!

  i used to be a bank teller for 4 years, i finally got fired for letting this one obnoxious customer really have it!

  some of the worst type of customers were the ones who left their brains who knows where.

  I've seen these jobs on TV

  jerking-off bulls, horses, pigs, and pinching turkeys for their semen for artificial insemination.

  another guy gets dunked in the waste water treatment plant to inspect things down there. A towering 50 ft bowl of pure shit. Imagine that.

  Being the person who has to sweep up the floor at a porn palace. A Guy told me personnally, that it was a draw back but a $7 bucks an hour he could tolerate it. -I swear that this is true. ahh the sweet smell of wood shavings and cum.

  Where were you in 1975?

  i have a vivid memory of 1975 even though i was only 6 years old.

  i remember the whispers and the fervor surrounding the year.

  i even had an uncle who marked his calendar every day with big red xs proclaiming that he couldn't wait for "this evil system of things to end.".

  taking out a huge loan I would never have to pay back (dirty ol' commerical system of Satan's, why should they get paid back)

  Retirement? -what's that? who needs that 17% 401K plan. My riches are with God. I'm sleepin with a stone pillow to prove my righteousness.

  so i'm in my communications class and i'm listening to all the speeches.

  we have 2 christian fundamentalists in the class which was why i chose wicca as my topic.

  anyway, the first one gave a speech on how carbon 14 dating is a hoax because the isotope that they measure only has a full life of 50,000 years.

  go to the triple hall quick build I went to back in @1985? -I do good work don't I? Along with 2500 others. It was a real meat/meet market at the time. Brothers looking for tacos and Sisters looking for sausgae. , , ,

  I really love the hard work on those bldgs. Something about physical labor that is better than sitting on my butt all day long in front of all sorts of servers and configuration problems.

  i have only suspicions about this, and an elder at the hall over 2 -1/2 years ago tipped me off to this and kind of semi-verified my long held suspicions.

  i never did get to elder school or even ms school because i never kissed enough ass, so i can't emphatically prove it myself.. he basically inferred or implied that nearly all the wtb&ts late 20th century problems had something to do with the "great" apostacy (witch hunt) of c.1980.. i have also talked to my brother-in-law about this matter a couple of times and he seems to be of the same bend or thinking.

  it's kind of like the borginazational culture that everyone "believes" or it's "known" that the troubles were rooted out when ray franz and friends were booted.. .

  My Dad even said that the "1975" problem was probably caused by Raymond Franz (rather than the true culprit, Fred Franz).

  A dream, a real dream, I believe, ONLY comes ONCE in a lifetime. It's the ONE thing, for you, that your very existence hinges on.

  I did go to College starting when I was about 30 or so. Got a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Programming/MIS/IT with a 3.98 GPA -yeah I'm Mr. Big Shit.

  It's not what I really wanted. What I wanted was something different and required much more investment (monetarily) than I could give. It all boiled down to one line ("oh, well they won't need Dr's in the new system anyway." -who the "they" were and are at the time I guess I never really thought about) that ultimately defines my life of repeated failures. Thanks to Mr. Franz and the rest of his buddies at the time. I'm 1 of 10,000.

  About time he got treated like he treated others at the time, without mercy. He was part of the club.

  Nothing, I mean nothing gets me more upset (crying/tearing someone's throat out/getting tipsy/punching my fists into a wall/and especially when my kids get sick) than THIS one topic. My dream was tied deeply to higher education. Posters here have heard me stand on my soapbox before on this subject.

  A once in a lifetime dream. Fu$%in' GONE!!!

  Now I give up on just about everything I undertake. It's all part of the deal I guess. Weak-mind, weak-soul. Turn the other check. Passive bastard. Ultimately I blame myself for caving.

  And although I understand his point and agree on many, Mr. Franz's whole book is HIS catharsis NOT mine. His whole book is about making himself a pariah -if that is the proper usage of the term. A living martyr.

  Mr. Franz can kiss my ass. He, and his buds ruined MY life, I didn't ruin his.

  What's the one thing you miss about the WTS?

  there are times when ilook back fondly on my days in the witnesses, especially when i think on the congregation get togethers we would have every once in awhile (not too often) people from our hall and sometimes others would show up (not too many) and good times were had by all.

  this is how the schedule usually went.. 8pm: arrive at the community centre.

  8:05pm: scope the room.

  Dubs don`t like to Tip

  a post made by alanf just made me remember about going to restaraunts with dubs.for the most part they don`t like to tip.my parents and the dubs they went out with were not poor people.my mom would have a fit if she saw my dad tip.most dubs i knew were the same way.did the dubs you were around,like to tip?...outlaw

  There was a story I read in the paper about about someone sueing an Asian restraunter for racism, because he added a gratuity ONLY to black people's bill.

  The reason given by the asian restuarant owner? He adds the gratuity to black people's bill because they don't tip.

  I've also heard the stereotype played up by black stand-up comedians and sitcoms.
