  PalTalk JWs Touch about Pedophile Topic

  i just got bounced from the jw chat room on paltalk for discussing the pedophile issue.

  it seems that the jws can only talk about this problem occurring in other churches (they were talking about the catholic's scandal) but when their religious organization is involved...watch out!.

  her family, the children of the congregation, the children of coffee county, and common sense and decency were her main concerns.. she has been a member of the religious group for decades, even working for the watchtower at the brooklyn homebase for more than 11 years.. but because of the denomination's policies toward pedophiles, she has not attended since 1997. because of the church's attitude toward whistleblowers, she is afraid she will never be able to attend again.. "they've ordered me to a judicial (within the church) hearing," said mrs. anderson.

  DEAD LAMBS!

  of course the sexual abouse of children is horrible, but what about the "slaughter of the innocnents" by the borg?.

  a child does have the chance to recover from abuse, but not death!.

  the watchtower knows that its blood policy is based on misinterpretation of schripture & bad science, yet they allow this insane policy to continue, as more die every day, after all, "jehovaha's people are a happy people!".

  I agree with you 100% I just feel that this issue has merit without the need for comparisons.

  When I DAed myself, a long time friend/Elder tried to talk me out of my decision, and one issue I raised was the blood issue and the loss of life that had occurred with the Hemophiliacs , all based on WT policy (Ray Franz’ two books had a very profound impact on my thinking at that time). When I asked how he felt about all the lives lost because of WT Policy and not based on any moral direction from Jehovah, he stated that he will gladly welcome them back as faithful ones in the new system! His reply helped hasten my departure......

  Please let me make this observation. Unlike the “Silent Lambs,” the “Dead Lambs” mostly line up for the slaughter willingly with free choice.....The Silent Lambs never have an option.

  )...has the watchtower hinted at this yet?.

  ps i think the reasoning of this is that its 70 years since the closing of the heavenly calling (1934/35).

  he is here to remind us of how easily we could be led into putting off our lives and waiting and waiting and waiting for the end, instead of living a good happy satisfying life now.. each of us could make a list of the regrets we have because of putting things off until after the end.. so, thankfully we have you know here to remind us that we are living the real life now.. joel

  Some of the most interesting debates have started with a You Know Post. Since most of us at one time or another would have agreed with YK’s current viewpoints because of our affiliation with the Jws, or, at least the End Time concerns (which some of us still hold to, even now), I respect his effort to present his “side” of a matter. And, I can also go so far as to state that some of the points he delivers have given me, at times, pause to explore my current viewpoints. Keep posting YK!

  Very interesting thoughts. I DA’ed myself. However, now I feel that it really does not matter if you DA or get DF.

  Why? Because either way, The Elders have the last action in the matter, “the announcement”. You are gone, and they are free to invent any situation they want to explain you away. The inference is the same, you are “this and that” and worthy of their shunning.......People think the worst of you........
