  Noidea and Myself's mother just passed away

  i just got off the phone with carla.

  carla and paula's mother has just passed away.

  carla said that paula had been checking her post on and off all through the night and that it gave her much comfort in knowing that so many replied and showed that they cared.

  Where Did Those 29 Years Go?

  tomorrow is our 29th anniversary!.

  so, tonight calls for a big celebration.

  we're off to the "flute de paris" for an evening of wine and good food in a top restaurant in wsm.

  no troubles leaving the JW

  do you know of former jw who were able to just leave the 'truth' and not being severely effected by that move?

  are there any former jw who had no troubles after leaving?

  I've had little if no trouble. Only one of my brothers and his family are 'hovahs, and they still talk to me. He doesn't know the exact nature of my departure,(da'd) kind of a "don't ask don't tell" situation. Yet, my brother knows that I don't agree with the WTS teachings anymore.

  So, yes, I'm relatively unaffected. Oh, there was that period of 2 years after I left that I thought I was going to fry at 'geddon, but then I got on the net.

  i was raised in it from birth by a devout witness mother.

  i know alot of people don't like beer, but i have been drinking beer since i was 7 yrs old.

  i love the stuff!!!.

  i was drinking bud light but my bf drinks dark beer (which i hated), but from kissing him for more than a yr now.

  Any amount of alcohol gives me a splitting headache. So, if I REALLY want to drink, I need to pop some Ibuprofen about an hour before I have a drink. I don't like having to take drugs just to drink, so I rarely do. Maybe once or twice a year.

  do you believe that the gb members, and the wt writers are consciously aware of their dishonesty and deceit?

  i really can't imagine, after reading so many of their articles and books, that the manipulation is by chance.

  it's one thing to really believe what you are writing will help people and try to maintain authority when doing so, but i've found too many examples of outright verbal abuse.
