another fine example of the violation of civil liberties perpetrated by the bush administration / ashcroft-led justice department under the guise of fighting "terror.

is this not "terror" in itself?

at what point is it acceptable for the american people to allow such actions to be committed against fellow american citizens simply because these people are of arab descent?

ok so i'm on the phone talking to my friend, when i hear a knock so light i wasn't even sure if it was a knock.... (the doorbell, lighted, works just fine).. i open the door.

two attractive young ladies in their early 20s are standing there, don't even make eye contact.

one reaches into her bookbag and pulls out the lasts watchtower and asnake magazines and proceeds to ramble incoherently for the next 30 seconds.

for those who may have voted for our idiot governor in california, he just announced today (after re-election of course) that ooops!!

our state budget is 38 billion more in the hole than we thought.. like he didn't know this before.

and, now he will try to raise taxes to make up for this.. to put this in perspective, that deficit is larger than all other states total budget, except for new york.. and we got four more years of this?

i'm watching this show on vh1.

the hosts are adrianna and christopher from the sopranos!

they declared the end to certain things from 2002. my personal favorite was that people using cell phones will no longer be allowed to use the phrase "can you hear me now" amen brother.

i'm just 'stopping by briefly' lol to wish happy holidays to old friends who may still be posting/lurking here...so many of you come to my mind on a regular basis, things you've said long ago continue to return to me when i need them and keep me going in a strong, forward direction.

my family continues to be amazed by the fact that four and a half years after my df'ing, i still haven't caved in and gone back.

for me, there is no going back.
