some people need to be surrounded with"friends" to make themselves feel good.others love their independence and prefer to be away from others.
what type of person are you?
or do you tend to be away from the action?

this is a question for an active witness.
do witnesses believe jesus is the christ, the predicted messiah?
if not, is messiah still to come?.
They believe he was born w/out sin, because God impregnated Mary, thus taking out the sin from adam (not sure why women's DNA isn't flawed, but its all a story anyway) I guess it was supernatural insemination, took a fertalized egg and put it in Mary's Uterus. So they believe he was born w/o sin.
Having "faith" in christ in their viewpoint is believing that he
1) Existed
2) was God's son
3) was the Ransom Sacrifice to free us from sin
4) That is is the reigning king in heaven w/his almost 144,000 kingpriests waiting to destroy 99.9% of the world in armageddon.
JWs say Faith is the "assured expectation of things hoped for....yet not beheld" so to them it means to believe this even if they can't see it.
okay, i don't mean by "donating" your hard earned money in the contribution boxes.
or, by having your purse or pocketbook taken.
or, by armed, masked men storming into the hall demanding everyone's money and jewelry.
Lots of people got their cars stolen from the parking lot at my o'l KH, so they put a bunch of security cameras up to keep an eye on them, along with a monitor to watch located at the sound station. Well, one night, all the cameras were stolen. I thought it was SOO funny. Now they just have brothers walking the parking lot, making sure nobody steals cars.
you can resize me if you'd like, ruby! I'll even show you how!
.
i was reading a post that reminded me of the songs that were popular but was wrong to listen to for various reasons.. we all remember puff the magic dragon being about drugs, which i hear was just a rumour.. another i remember was let it be by the beatles, which was " catholic based about mary the mother of jesus" when apparently it was written about paul mccartney's own mother.
shows what they know.. which songs do you remember that were "bad" that we were not supposed to listen to?
I was at a wedding where "Love shack" was played by the DJ and the Elders turned it off. Nookie from Limp Bizkit was also banned because of the "stick it in your Yeah" line. Clint Eastwood by Gorillaz was banned because people thought it was about the Devil and/or drugs. Anything Rap/R&B and Rock. I think the only thing we could listen to was hank Williams Sr and Patsy Kline
yes I see it too, And I just wanted to tell Viv That she looks so beautiful my dutch princess
..after you were baptised, and how did you feel?.
i went for a swim, having got baptised at orchard beach, new york.
i was disappointed that i didn't feel any sort of warm glow.. when my dad was baptised, it was at epsom circuit assembly, london.
It felt good for me because I was finally able to date my girlfriend. Apart from that, nothing really that special except that I couldn't celebrate Christmas with my family (I got baptized on Dec. 20th) so I was pretty bummed out.
Why isn't that in "my book of bible stories" or the one where the Genetalia is pierced with a spear...thats always a pleasent story.
We should make a book, "My book of Bible porn" (or perhaps a movie....)
as the holidays approach, i find myself in a festive spirit, though a bit fiesty as well.. i couldn't help but think that some of the local halls could use a little decorating for the holidays.
many halls have signs out by the street.
wouldn't they look better with a few stockings hanging from them?.
A nice santa on the roof would look cool!
this morning on the way to work, i burst into song.
not just any song ... but the heretofore forbidden "star spangled banner".
i just felt like singing and i wanted to sing something challenging and it seemed like the perfect choice.
Another forbidden pleasure for me is having my own opinion!
