  i have been dating my girlfriend for a little while now.

  we have a great relationship, for the most part everything is great, we get along etc.. .

  but she has a concern about me.

  I fall in the same boat of not enough "Wooing"

  Some girls are high maintenance, some arn't. But its pretty easy to let a girl know she is being though of, and thats what most of them want. Bringing her flowers for no apparent reason (because you were thinking of her) is a great way. Weekend trips can help too. Woo != $, and if it does, then you need to find another girl.

  She wants to feel special. She wants to feel like you constantly think of her.

  If she is more laid back, she could be woo'd by a six pack of beer, a large pizza, and the NBA finals to watch. But not likely....

  apostates haven't done a thing to give jehovah a bad name.

  he's done it all himself, by letting his organization make wrong predictions about the end, by associating themselves with the united nations, and by letting them shelter child molesters.. it's that, or the watchtower society really isn't god's organization.

  just as a matter of curiosity i was wondering if any of you know of anybody who has read raymond franz' 'crisis of conscience' and who actually remained a jw?

  i have sent and lent this book to a number of people within the wts, even a co, all of whom left eventually.

  one person remained due to domestic issues, but resigned from all his duties and remains as such.

  Its a book written from the inside to let people on the outside know what goes on behind the closed doors. How can someone remain faithful to an org that is shown to be fraudulent? They could stay for other reasons (like family), but if they actually read the book, then I doubt they could stay 'in' the troof.

  If they were in charge of the courts in Moscow, they would ban ALL religions, not just the ones that cause hatred and intollerance.

  i finally feel like there is someone out there that understands what i'm going through.

  my ex-girlfriend (and still best friend) try to understand but she just can't.

  she supports me in being strong but it's just nice to vent to people who have been through the same thing.

  Yes, the 'no religion is perfect' clause. Its ok for our religion not to be perfect, but all the other religions are imperfect because satan controlls them...

  can't get over how good the new jet album get born is...there's a definate t-rex resurrection revival going on here....with a little ac/dc thrown in for good measure ..its awesome...some amazing acoustic guitar based guitar ballads too- a real ecclectic mix that hangs really well together..got to have the headphones on though as its got to be loud..now all i have to do is hope they get better before glastonbury.

  If they have a law that bans intollerant and hate spreading religions, then JWs do fall under this catagory. They are taught to hate the world and also to be intollerant of EVERYONE eles' religions.

  Cheers to Russia to not allow this kind of behavior to be promoted and recognized as a state religion.
