Before I had to become responsible. A joint, a glass of wine, and Mozart. The best sleep I ever got. Too bad, I haven't been able to sleep in over a decade.

I have been trying to install into my oldest daughter my thoughts on being productive in life. She is a late riser. I am an early riser along with my youngest daughter. My youngest wakes up about 5:45 with the bigest, brightest smile on her face. I wake up about 5:00 and get my day started. My youngest and I have a pretty solid way to start our day. I wake up and read email and start logistics planning for the day. My youngest wakes up and starts reading her books on her tablet right next to me. It is the cutest thing. We get some of our best time together before the rest of the world is awake. My oldest drags out of bed with a frown on her face and takes forever to get going. This bothers me. I don't know if I am overly worried about it, but I get so much done before lunch. If i woke up late and took a long time to get going, I would be no where as productive on a daily basis. So, my schedule is about a 5:00 wake up and I get rolling imediatly. I work all day except lunch and dinner which I spend with my family. I then usually work until about 10:00 pm and watch a show or two and get to bed about 11:30. What's your schedule?

Usually, the ones who are worth a shit have a little fire in their soul. Be who you are. Trust me there are people who like you just the way you are, and if you tried to be something different you wouldn't like yourself. I know this to be fact.

Of times and $$$$
by zebagain inin sorting insurances out updating , i just mentioned to my wife who is 'in' that in the event you have to claim "dont give any of it to anyone else".. there was a pause i didnt like.. comments by others on this site indicated the wts has been beating the drum for $$ i fear what she may have agreed to.. to those who have insurance it is not.. not to go, not a cent to the wts as they have belittled anyone taking out insurance or retirement benefits.. my insurance has been created to keep her and our handicapped offspring not the gb on a building spree..

Depending on the law of the land, a wife may be entitled to some of a husbands estate if not all of it, however the question here is about insurance and you can leave that to whoever you want. As an example, you die and have a million dollar LIP on yourself and you have named your trust as the payee. You never owned that million dollars. You were dead before it was paid. It is no way part of your estate.

Depends on region and law of the land. Trusts are very solid in some areas. An individual can claim anyone he or she wants on a life insurance policy they pay for period. I have a policy on myself payable to one of my business partners to cover his loss in my death and He the same for me. None of that money will go to my wife. A LIP is not part of ones estate. I do not own that money. When an individual dies they are no longer legally married so a spouse has no claim to a policy not in their name. At any rate, hire a legal professional and get this straightened out. I couldn't sleep knowing this.

Nothing would make me more angry. Just because something is yours doesn't make it is your wifes. Period. Set up a trust and make sure your death doesn't support this cult. It will cost a little money, but would be worth a piece of mind. You don't even have to tell her. Sure she'll be mad, but you'll be dead and atleast you would know your children have been taken care of.

My wife is fashionable for the both of us. I wear blue jeans and a Columbia PFG shirt almost everywhere. The only way one can distinguish my work and play wear is by the boots and flip flops.

What does money represent to YOU ?
by new hope and happiness infor example does money represent to you power, love, joy and much more or does money represent to you feelings of worry, guilt, anger, sadness.. for myself i have always enjoyed living largely on little, and i can appreciate that the best things in life are free.
having said that i am glad i have been fortunate and sensible enough with money to never have exsperienced the anxiety of debt.
and it may sound silly but i dont think winning it big on the lottery would improve the quality of my life nor my family.

Money is a tool. It is like a hammer. If you know how to use it you can get things you want or need. Simple, when one thinks about money. It is neither good or evil. It is only a tool.

A nice find if you want to dispute the new "Donation" arrangement.
by DATA-DOG ini will probably use this line in my bible highlights tonight!
it's from the 5/1/1950 wt article " a christian use of material wealth.
the money which is contributed by persons who accept the printed bible-study helps from jehovahs witnesses aids quite a bit in keeping the work going.

how long before you felt refreshed and new?
by losingit inwaking up from jw-land is an extremely exhausting process.
about 3 years ago, i attended a month-long institute for grad school students.
during this time, i was surrounded by people from all over the united states and had active, deep conversations with so many about personal topics, such as religion and divorce.

I hope you get to feeling better. I hate to see people hurting. A little sunshine never hurt anyone.
