Here's the thing. Back in the early 70s there was a book called Listening to the Great Teacher. But Jesus was not a great teacher.
John chapter 8 was he going around in circles with the Jews and he got no where.
He said things like The Father and I are one. If you've seen me you've seen the Father. Both of those caused people to think that Jesus is the Father.
All of his talk of weeping and gnashing of teeth.
He didn't define salvation or his identity or what the kingdom is.
He said people need to eat of his flesh and drink his blood. Then at the Last Supper he said this is my body.
It's like he didn't think about how people would take things.
And his statement about This Generation. It's crazy that people focus on what he said.
