There was a discussion down the board aways about the meaning of life.
This was my comment,"Horses have life, what is the purpose of his life? What is the difference between his purpose and humans? We are just able to ask more questions about life than the horse, but we don't have any more answers."
Maybe we are here to give a home for some viruses, bacteria or maybe a parasite. Nature seems to indicate that life is ment to be used as food for the next higher animal.
Do we have something extra as a human, like a soul or spirit that inhabits our body, and is somehow more valuable to the universal God?
It seems to me though that the purpose of life is to produce more life, else there would be no more life after a hundred years or so.

s/he tries to start arguments and upset people.. apostates see internet communications services as convenient venues for their bizarre game.
for some reason, they don't "get" that they are hurting real people.

FELLOWSHIP
by ricoananas ini've been reading lots of messages in just a few days of logging on to this site and have to say that in the beginning it was bothering me to still be doing the jw thing.
i dropped out after 25 years, the last 14 as an elder.
now, however, i'm beginning to realize that the posts have been giving me a feeling of fellowship with many people who have gone/are going through experiences similar to mine, a kind of fellowship that i rarely if ever felt being among other jw's.

Hi Rico,
I was in for about 40 years, 10 years or so as PO and just got tired of all the stuff I had to do. I was out about 25 years before I discovered this place and the info I learned here gave me peace from the JWs BS. There are a mixture of characters here that entertain and inform you, and some who piss you off at times, but I like them all. I'm addicted to this forum and feel like I'm part of a group of friends who would support me if I really needed their help. Enjoy the ride.

it still runs good and i pull my 35' camper to the coast with it each year.

Hi Met,
I was in McDonalds this morning talking with my DF'D brother and a mutual friend from our old work place. I noticed a couple of JWs come in, and a few minutes my aunt and another young sister( a daughter of someone I studied with 28 years ago) walked in. They looked at me and never even acknowledged I was there, even though they walked right by me. I guess the reason is becuase I was with my brother.
I thought to myself, if that is how they want to play I will shun them from now on, but I decided I didn't want to stoop to their level, so I guess I will talk to them if they wish.
I hate that attitude of being,"better than you",that the JWs have toward all others. Indeed it may backfire on them.

How many things could I get DF'd for tonight?
by rhett inmy wife and i just got home from a christmas party.
before the party i took a shower and washed my long hair and trimmed my beard a bit.
we then went to the christmas party that was being held by my friend ken and his partner steve.

About that oral thing, I read yesterday that the man should use mouth wash to kill the germs before he does the oral thing, otherwise he may cause a yeast infection, or at least brush his teeth.
