  Am I the Oldest One here??

  today is my birthday, born in 1936. that makes me 66. i can hardly beleive it.

  i'm still in good health but know it's just a short run until something does me in.

  i'm really thankful for the great life i've enjoyed, no real problems that i consider serious.

  However they live ,they do so without the stresses your average joe lives with. They do NOT worry where the next meal comes from.

  They do not worry about medical and dental services and how to pay for them.
  They do not worry about mortgages and rents....
  They do not worry about insurance,social security,old age living......
  They do not worry about automobiles and transportation...9and the insurance ,repairs that go along w/ such an expense.....
  The do not worry about clothing,personal needs......
  They do not worry about who pays for travel arrangements.....
  They do not worry about hotels etc when they do travel..
  They do not worry where their 'Depends' come from and who buys them.....
  They do not worry about glasses ,walkers, and other special needs....where they come from and who buys them.....

  Slow down refiners. Evry newbie coming here is not a troll. Simons is the most popular exJW site. We can expect many new ones or lurkers to come out of lurk mode. Especially with all of last years exposes and the great info that is posted and shared here. It's going to arouse the interest of all kinds of people,Jw and nonJw alike.
  This is no troll. Try textual analysis. This was not an inflammatory or insulting question asked. But seems to me a sincere one.

  inspired by district overbeer valis and his smurf sticker contest, i decided to up the ante and announce a song contest for all you so inclined to play.. what i have in mind is this: take any recorded song you like, even the dreaded jw kingdom songs, and redub them to something much more fun!.

  if you have a cool bastardized song (well that is what valis says it is called when you do this) then we can try it out at some of the apostofests that seem to be popping up like crazy all over!.

  in the corporate world the top leaders are of course responsible when something goes wrong in the organization they lead.

  why should it be different in the religious area?

  during its existence the watchtower society has printed all kinds of articles about who are chosen to become elders in the watchtower organization.. the sum of all of them is that these men are appointed by all the big shots in the universe starting with jehovah, which in turn delegates the handling of this matter to jesus which in turn works his wonders through a mystic entity called the holy spirit.
