Why do some guys feel the need to have sex with their ex-girlfriends?...My ex-b/f has asked me for sex on several occasions... As far as sex after the break-up it happened once about a month after we split...It will be a year next month since he broke up our 4-yr relatioonship... he has this new girlfriend of almost a yearnow... I still have deep feelings for the guy. It is still hard for me to let go of him... how many times did he cheat on me. But he forever insists he never has. YEAH FREAKIN RUGHT!!!
What makes you think you have broken up? Seems to me he now has two fish on the line. Don't let him make you his "bitch," you have sex with this guy more then many married couples do, cut the line.
The thing about men is we like sex. If you are a woman who has a man frend, he will most likly have sex with you if you want it, that's why we hate it when our ladys have man frends.

New World Translation: ignored once again!
by Quotes inwhile researching a reply to another thread, i discovered "the unbound bible": http://unbound.biola.edu/.
it allows you to search for a bible passage in several different translations, from king james to douay to original language hebrew and greek.
i am shocked, shocked i tell you, that the new world tranlation is not one of the options!

Trumangirl,
1) rsv (revised standard version)
2) nrsv (new revised standard version)
I like the Catholic versions because they have all the books originally canonized, (RSCV & NRSCV)
I believe that, if the WT published their Bible online with other translations Bible Scholars and would tear it apart until it became a common joke among Christians. Way too dangerous to the Org.(anism)

Do you think God would mind if you called him an @sshole??
by frankiespeakin innow i don't know if there is a "god",,but if there was one,, would he get mad like the jehovah in the bible if you slighted him in some way??.
i know many people are afraid to call down evil on jehovah or jesus,,they feel god might hurt them in some way if they take up his name in a less than respectful way.
i personal would not be inclind to view "god" to be like that at all.. if this god made everything in existance he must have intelligence that is vastly greater than ours,,he certainly wouldn't have the same emotions as us,,like fear,,anxiety,etc...they would only get in the way of good clear judgements,,and screw thing up for him just like they do to us sometimes.. to think that this 'god" would get angry at us for blaming him for something and calling him names is rediculous,,example: would you get mad at an earthworm because it didn't like you,,or because he swore at you when you stepped on his nieghborhood ant hill??

Kingdum Hall Burning
by morty in.
just watched the news and two 14 year olds have been brought into custody for questioning of the burning of the hall in middleboro....it is burning right now..... the media was interviewing an elder who was let in quickly for some important papers when one of the side walls caved in while the fire fighters were trying to put out the fire.the fire men were sent to hospital for smoke..... i wonder what was the important papers that they needed??.
i have never known fire men to let people into a burning building before.... the whole thing sounds fishy to me....

I couldn't edit my post, so I'm tacking on the latest change in the story. Now they are saying it was 3, 14 year old boys messing around with matchs outside the Hall. The only good news is that the kids are being charged with arson as Juviniles ( adults face 10 years for arson in MA ).
This got me thinking; fire is an odd tool. As my Dad is a Carpenter, I could use most power tools safely and correctly at the age of 14, but not the oldest tool of man infact I was never taught how to use fire. Not that it's difficult, I watched in person and on tv and learned. It's one of the many things you pick up on your way around the block, but to not instruct kids in it's use seems akin to not teaching tool safety. They wouldn't have been surprised at how fast fu<ing around with fire can get out of control if it wasn't one of there first real exposures to it. Some times ignorance and innocents is not bliss.

The good way to be a Jehovahs Witness
by ball. indid anyone know witness families who were seemingly able to juggle getting a good education and career while maintaining good standing and even high positions in the congregation.
while from the platform, encouraging ones to pioneer from school (like i did), they themselves would be leading a completely acceptable double life, encouraging their children in their careers.
some people were better at that kind of double life than others.

It's no longer shameful to be a dissembler; hypocrisy is now a fashionable vice, and all fashionable vices pass for virtues. The part of God-fearing man is the best possible role to play nowadays, and in our present society the hypocrite's profession has extraordinary advantages. It's an art whose dishonesty always goes unchallenged; even if the whole world sees through the imposture, no one dares denounce it. All the other vices of mankind are subject to censure, and anyone is free to upbraid them roundly; but hypocrisy is a privileged vice which knows how to silence every tongue and enjoy perfect impunity. The hypocrite, by means of pious pretenses, attaches himself to the company of the devout, and anyone who then assails him is set upon by a great phalanx of the godly--wherein those who act sincerely, and have a true religious fervor, are always the dupes of the others. The true believers are easily hoodwinked by the false, and blindly second those who ape their piety. I can't tell you how many men I know who, by means of a feigned devotion, have glossed over the sins of their youth, wrapped themselves in the cloak of religion, and in that holy disguise are now free to be the worst of scoundrels! It makes no difference if their intrigues are sometimes exposed and their true natures laid bare; they don't cease, on that account, to be respected, since by soulful groans, and bowings of the head, and rollings of the of the eye toward Heaven, they can readily persuade the world to excuse whatever they do.

What Happened to Romans 3:34?

So the question then is, 'what is true scripture?' If 'all scripture is inspired' that is. IMO the entire bible is not true scripture/the word of God, ie: Proverbs 31:1-7. Or perhaps the question is, 'inspired in what sense, to what degree?'
Good points Flash,
Inspired by God does not mean written and comiled by God, now does it. The question as i see it is one of authority. Who says the Bible is inspired and what exactly is the Bible? As many know the bible was canonized by the Catholic Church AFTER the WT claims the Church became apostate. This is the inspired scripture or it is not, there can be no other possibilities. If it is than any changes to it are a corruption. If it is not, than what is? Who has the authority to declare scripture inspired? The king of England? A Catholic Monk? A Baptist Minister? Me or You? Can I cut and paste together a book and say this is it, this is the Bible lads?

the Craziest thigs I heard are: The WT is the Faithful and Dixscreet Slave. That there is a modern King of the North. There is a morden day Babylon, Great harlet, Jesus came back "invisibly" to say keep up the good work boys,(ofcourse no testimony to this world shattering event was ever published, so much for "the good news," maybe the Catholics have it locked away in the secret underground Vatican vaults where they hide all the proof that the WT is Gods Org.) That JWs are perscuted for the "truth," etc.....and That the Bible is full of references to the WT and their "works." I could go on all day but let me stop before I start rambling off everything I heard spoken.

How can believing **the truth** ever be traiterous? That is zealotry gone mad. To call it propaganda shows IMO that you do not know what propaganda really is.
American style censorship in action Simon, call the speaker, or indeed the very thought, traiterous. In the US to speak contrary to or ufavorably about Republican positions, is for the most part to invite a hostile reaction from the multitude of brain dead CNN conditioned sheep.
I don't understand how people could have listened to the Bush administration say over and over that suspected terrorists are not entitled to the protections of the Geneva Conventoin and not realize; the only reason to make that asertion is because they knew full well that the suspects treatment would be in violation to that convention.
Do we see what we do? Can't we even look at life? Why is the press "sheltering" us from the harshness of the real world, of real deeds and real death. In a sense I don't know why the news would be about anything else. What could be more important to see and understand then the suffering that is and the final end of a life. What should the race or the Nationality of the person matter?
