by Homerovah the Almighty inthere has been some dramatic changes going on recently with the jws as everyone knows , i can only speculate this is due to the once well hidden secrets.
that have been hidden so well from the eyes of the faithful followers, the overwhelming information on the inter-net may be the cause of this.. perhaps the power and arrogance that the gb held for so many years is indeed starting to weaken.. i'm actually seeing the faith weakening within my own family members that have been involved with the organization for decades.. they do seem to be down sizing a lot in their operations, wouldn't it be surprisingly ironic if " the truth " was the thing that really was to bring down their structured lies.. well we can only wish, right !

Most of the older so-called "leaders", GB and others have died or are dying off. These younger ones up in there in the legal dept and the other upper echelon sections of the borg want their piece of the pie, so they can continue to live the easy life after the belief system crumbles entirely to dust. They know the borg is a sham and that they will not be able to continue to promote this scam pseudo-religion forever. The selling off of all the property all of a sudden in these last couple of years, and the continual selling is proof of that. Someone here even posted a few weeks ago that now all of the WT property in Brooklyn is now up for sale and that investors were being invited to look at the various pieces of property.
Its a bullshit pseudo-religion, the biggest scam ever on this planet, and the so-called leaders know it, as they have always known it. They have been riding it and now its on its last broken legs.
Do not be surprised at a "kool-aid" situation that occurs in which many lives within the borg suddenly end and the evil slavemasters in Brooklyn and Patterson try to get away with it. For those of you who are still in, keep your eyes, ears, and mind open. And if you attend future memorials, you'd better be careful about putting any of those so-called emblems into your mouth.

Interesting. I'm sure its true. Wt is desperate to try anything they think will keep the jdumbs under control.
But now the elders, and some ministerial servants, will have more things to prepare for , for one night of multiple meetings.
In congs where there are few elders and/or ms, one person might have 3 parts to prepare for: Conduct the book study, a talk in the TMS, and a part on the SM. This new arrangement will mean they have to do more juggling of responsibilities. The lazy elders, of whom there are plenty inthe borg, will probably try to get out of conducting the book study whenever they can, even though its only for about 30 min, thus putting more pressure on the others to handle the different parts on this 3 meeting night.
There will be problems.
Evil organizations always have problems, even though camouflaged.

What Careers, Opportunities Did you Have to Sacrifice - to be a Witness ?

but if you did have to give up doing what you wanted in a career or opportunity - what was it ?
how controlling was the organization over you, and were you counseled by elders or higher ups to not pursue certain jobs, opportunities, college , etc - so that you stayed in the witnesses for awhile ; not doing what you wanted?

The main thing I gave up was college. I've always loved science: Astronomy and Physics especially. I should have ended up being a scientist. But I'm working on that now in college. My goal is to teach science. And I am working on having a business of my own based on science. My high school teachers told me I to go to college.They said they "expected big things" from me. I wish I had listened to them. Oh well, its never too late.
I also gave up a very good paying job installing alarms because at the interview I learned I would have had to carry a pistol. They wanted to hire me on the spot after just a ten minute interview. I really wanted that job and almost accepted it. When the interviewer asked me why I was turning it down and I explained that being a JW, I could'nt carry a gun, he could not understand it.He could not believe I was turning down such a good position for that reason. He even told me to call him if I changed my mind, the job would be mine. That was in 1979.
There were other employment opportunities I didn't even pursue over the years because they would have conflicted with "meeting times". HAH!
Did not have children. (The infamous 1988 "Responsible Childbearing In This Time Of The End" talk) Although I am glad I did not have children with the jw wife I had. Glad we are ex's.

it started 4 years ago - but it moved slowly past the weeks and months of 'research', trying to find where i fit, then into an understanding that i didn't - at least not conventionally, fit anywhere, religiously speaking.
