haven't seen jw's here on this street in 2 years. i know they are around, but they don't ever seem to be when i am.
however i see more mormons in the city and on my street than i ever see jw's.

in Fall River Massachusettes in the late 90's we sold our KH to the LDS so we could build one not on the hills and so dangerous to get to in the winter, and have more parking.
so they built it on a parade route.
dummys. someone didn't do all their homework.

American Idol final: Diana or Fantasia
by Mulan ini thought both girls sang amazingly last night.
both had one song that wasn't so great, so the contest was a draw for me.
since simon so obviously favors fantasia i voted 3 times for diana.

diana all the way.....but i suppose y'all new i felt that way
fantasia does nothing for me, except want to mute the tv. i can hear that grating whine when she sings and speaks. it cuts through to the bone and grates like fingernails on a chalk board.
i think her voice sounds like aunt esther on sanford and son.

A Question Of Manners.
by Englishman ini'm looking for some feedback here.
hl and i like to socialise sometimes, and this often results in us hosting small parties for a few friends.. often our friends reciprocate, and then we enjoy being guests instead of being hosts.. but we keep encountering a dilemma.
one set of friends like us to visit them for afternoon bbq's or sometimes for evening dinner parties.. now, no problem with dinner parties, but if say we go to a bbq at around 4.30, they expect us to remain with them for the entire evening right through until around 11 pm or midnight, the same time as we'd stay to if we went to a late dinner party.. personally, i've had enough at about 9 pm, that's 5 hours, so we like to leave and have a pint or two in the pub on the way home.. now this makes them quite angry and they say that we're being anti-social because we are off to the pub instead of spending the whole evening with them.. i maintain that if you go to tea or a bbq in the late afternoon, then it's quite acceptable to depart earlier than if you went to a late dinner party.. what do you think?.

when i had dubbuales over stay their visits, i'd treat it honourably. i'd go to bed.
when they heard my snoring, they got the hint.

Need Input on DF committee hearings, please
by robhic ini would like to ask, specifically, the ladies here who have been subjected to a jc hearing, preferrably for fairly serious reasons, to write a quick summary of the humiliation, etc.
that went on during this process.
anybody who has participated in a jc hearing is welcome to add.

i don't have any of my own to share, but spending a day or two in searching this site will bring you the information you desire.

(way too big) .
since about a year i switched to 800x600 pixels (perfect).

What kind of video games do you play?
by dustyb ini play pc games for the most part.
i'm still in the old counter-strike mode.
but i also like to play unreal tournament 2003 and 2004. i also like battlefield 1942/vietnam and farcry.. i would recommend the athlon 64 or fx(if you gots lots of cash) series from amd over a pentium, since they run 32 stuff fast now and can do 64 bit when the production version is released.
