  -i'm a jw who has been in the org his entire life.. -i never used a computer except at work to place customer orders.. -my wife buys me an 800mhz system from the neighborhood circuit city store as an anniversary gift.

  there is a reason that we are here.
  most all of us here, are either, "in" the truth, and doing our research and coming up with different answers than the "organization", you know, "Gods" channel.

  some are out completely, and need this forum for the support provided here to help them recover from the devastation of finding out exactly what they were in.

  and some are betwix and between.

  how about you my friend? i'm a "brother".....how about you? i've been in the truth for about 40 years. last year i found out the truth about the truth. thats why i'm here. for the support of friends here, that frankly, you find it difficult to find in your local congregation. not imposible, but hard.

  WTS says 215 years - Bible says 430 - Which?

  215 years or 430 years?

  the july 15th wt study some have been talking about (not sure of which issue of the wt is involved) was quoted as saying this, "when the israelites headed for freedom after spending 215 years in egypt, much of that time in slavery, a vast mixed company also went up with them.

  (exodus 12:38) ".

  What happened to "Jehovah's Christian Witn...

  i have noticed in using the wt-cd that the use of the terms "jehovah's christian witnesses" and "christian witnesses of jehovah" dropped dramatically after 1980. is there a reason for that?

  don't know if you've seen this max, probably have, but it explains more than the wtbts did when they published this "news" in a recent wt. the wtbts buried it on a back page and when i was done reading it, i still didnt know what the hell it meant. this link straightened it out for me.

  i've known more than one couple, when one is professing to be of the anointed, and the other spouse isn't.

  Smurf at the KH

  so on sunday i decided to put the smurf thing to the test.

  the plan was to take a smurf to the kingdom hall for the public talk & watchtower.

  if the smurf gets up and walks out all by itself then i know they are daemons and i should repent in sack cloth and ashes dedicating my life to god.
