  for those who "grew up in the borg"

  at this late, middle stage of my life, i've started wondering, now that i know what i know, about the things in my life that i "lived" with.

  having been raised all my life in the "borg" i have known nothing else.

  when questions began forming years ago, it started me thinking.

  troubled [in need of answers]

  today, i had a long, long talk with my employer.

  this person is some one who can seperate work and personal things, so after feeling like i needed to talk to someone, and soon, before i crack up, i went to her and dropped the bomb.

  she is not a witness, and because i cannot talk to a witness about what i have learned, for fear of the df'ing thingy, i feel safe in talking to her.

  family matters

  i've decide to share with y'all a letter i wrote to my sister.

  our relationship has been strained of late, and i needed to get a start to fixing that.

  we lost 2 family members to death in the last week, and it made me realize how far we have grown apart over the years.

  i wonder why it took me so long.. veniceit posted a link in her story on her sight to this article, which i scanned into text and repost here.

  the point being, that this is one scam to make money by the borg.

  in the wt 01-15-01 page 31 i quote:.

  at the conclusion of the annual meeting of the watch tower bible and tract society of pennsylvania on october 7, 2000, a special announcement was made by the chairman, john e. barr of the governing body.

  {zev note:included below} making a very significant point, brother barr stated: "the faithful and discreet slave' and its governing body have had entrusted to them interests that are higher and far more encompassing than those granted to legal corporations.

  it never ceases to amaze me that in my 30+ years of sitting in those cheep plastic chairs, how much i missed, took for granted or just plain didn't care.

  i took advantage of my time this morning to look over a couple aticles published by the borg, that relate to sites like this and countless others.

  i worked years ago with a middle-aged couple that was second and third generation jws who at my urging, read ray's book crisis of conscience.

  he had been a former elder and the effect it had on him literally made him sick.

  one of the things that has bothered me for years, in this organization is how appointments are made.

  its alleged to be done by holy spirit.

  or by men whose decisions are effected or influenced by holy spirit.
