  Hi my name is Old Crow Woman from the land of frozen Tundra. What is Minnie-soda. As Mustang would say. The extention of Canada. It's in Minnie-nowhere as a co-worker would say. No actually its Minneapolis.

  Let see before jw land I was a hippie. A rebel without a cause. No I participated in the anti-war movement. My family thought I went to the farside. Which is where I had been most of my life. I really was'nt out of character.

  I was in jw land for 14 yrs. Which my family thought I had gone over the edge. DA'ed my

  self and been out for 21 yearsIt's been a rollor coaster ride. In a good way. I get to smell the flowers.

  Anyway I wrote this piece cause I di'dnt want to go into the discertation on abusive matters. Sometimes I just want to skim over issues in life. Maybe as time goes on I will add more to the piece of my life

  Does the Soul continue to Exist after the Death of the Body?

  do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.rather be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in hell....the words of jesus at matthew 10:28. so,according to jesus,the soul does exist after the death of the body.but in order not to be destroyed you must fear the one who can destroy your soul.. what a way to live!.

  What do you do with your old liturature?

  i'm in the middle of decorating my new house, and was a bit stuck as to what to use to mask off the furniture/carpets etc until i spotted an oldv pile of watchtowers that i'd been meaning to throw out.

  i now have paint spattered watchtowers all over my living room.. anybody else got any good things to use old liturature for?

  Actually I took all the magazine's, books and even the bible, had a fire burn them and put the ashes on leaves sent them down river. I am all for having rituals in ending pieces of my life. One way of letting go.

  I am a survivor of domestic abuse!! I lived in denial for 14 yrs of marriage along with abusing alcohol to survive.

  I was in therapy the last year. I was given a phone number for Battered Women. I was so shut down much less to figure out being in a dangerous situation to call for help.

  It was my 5 yr old at the time, "Mom why don't you get apartment, my sister and I will move in with you." It opened the door in making changes for us. We were dealing with his manic-depressive behaviors along being psychotic!!!!!!

  Fortunately he was involve with jw woman at the time so it took some of the heat off of me and the kids.

  We moved out not carrying much belongings with us. I just wanted to get hell of Dodge. I just wanted to be in a place where we could feel safe and quiet.

  Even though I've been out of that relationship for 21 yrs this month. I do deal with remnants of the abuse. That comes in layers.

  I am grateful to come home and to know I am safe. Not worry when the shoe is going to drop!!!

  I admire the courage and strength of women and men share their story dealing with abuse. It's important to speak out. To let others know that they don't need to put up with the abuses on this site. The options are available here on jwd to check out for self. One can check out through PM others here for safety reasons. Break the Silence!

  What kind of tree would you be?

  i was reading a book on celtic beliefs.

  and as the western beliefs have the zodiac; and the asians have the 12 animals who came to buddha, so the celts believe different trees represent basic characteristics in humans.. so ok which kind of tree would you be ?

  i would be an oak.

  Birch tree is consider sacred in Finland.

  with all the viruses going around, did you ever get one, or do you fear that you will get one?

  good thing that i have norton antivirus, because i would have had a few.

  just wondering with those with windows xp, do you keep your xp firewall activated?
