i had jw on my id caller.
no message left.
I received another phone call from the jw's and this time they left a message on answering machine. Of course the theme of about living in the the time of the end and inviting to the nearest kingdumb hall on Sunday.
It pissed me off leaving a message and feeling violated having them invade my space. Of all the years having a phone I have not had an encounter with religious org. I burnt sage to clean out the energy in my home.
Whats interesting is that telemarketers do not leave a message on my machine. So do Jw's have the priveledge of leaving their messages? I feel its totally wrong !! I did'nt invite them in.
How do others feel about this?

i am writing this thread because i hope it fosters some positive communication although i may end up being deleted for it.. to start with a discliamer: i am no fan of stinkypantz posts - they just aren't that interesting to me.. that being said i now see sp was deleted.
my first reaction to that was anger.
sp posted stuff about being close to a nervous breakdown, wishing she could just "disappear" etc....she is obviously someone in pain right now.. we have been constantly censured about how this is a place of healing and we need to keep it that way for people who need healing, support and comfort.. so i only hope sp has been "temporarily suspended" (not deleted) for her own good and no because she pissed off some moderator.
There's more going on with the whole picture here with SP. I have supported her with her issues over the past year. I encouraged her to different resources. I realize I needed to step back because she made choices in not taking care of herself.

i went out to the car this morning and noticed a fast single-engine plane "scud-running" towards the mountains ringing the la basin.
there were white "cumulo-puffs" (towering cumulo-nimbus clouds) lazily moving east (normal weather flow pattern restored).
there was ~70% overcast (constitutes a ceiling).

while i have seen on many occasions the benefit of sharing our past problems, or life, with others who have been through the same.
i am very curious as to what the real benefit would be, to leaving a religion of such control and segregated thinking, only to venture online or in person to others who are basically a lost congregation of the religion.
does it benefit a person to seek out former jehovah's witnesses?
