it's a balancing act.
it is impossible to please everyone all the time and i don't go out of my way to try to please anyone ... i just do what i think is right.. some good examples are controversial topics: if i lock or delete something that is controversial then i am accused of "stiffling free speech".

recently i had a run in with some people from another board, that also attend this board.
in a search of my name on this site, i see that people (two weeks later) are still mentioning this and me.

Thanks. As I said before - I am pretty thick skinned. My point was one which I have heard for ages: "his/her posting style is the same as xyz's posting style - yes therefore he/she is xyz".
Doesn't that seem like lame-logic to you? We read posts by people on here who say that they left JWs because they became thinkers... Then I see stuff like the "posting style argument" and I say to myself: "Really? It's no wonder you believed a snake spoke to Eve or that Samson killed 3000 people with the jawbone of an ASS"

Now I ask you to assume that statement is correct. However, also consider the following: If God is for real then why is he/she/it so vague? Why is he/she/it so open to interperetation?
I can offer you and your husband no better HOPE than the concepts of Spirituality can, but then again spirituality is so loose isn't it? So my advice to everyone, including myself, is to SMELL THE COFEE. I will take the tiniest of snippets from the quote above and use just one word: EXPERIENCE. Go out and experience as much as you can everyday. Use the uncertainty or void to moticvate yourself to enjoy every second of every day. Don't let the "vagueness of God" demotivate you. Live like there is no tomorrow! If God does exists and has chosen to be vague then you cannot be accountable for obedience to vaguery - so enjoy your life. Celebrate it!!

Let me ask you something: What if you are incorrect and I am NOT Kennopdragon? Have you considered the fact that your accusations can hurt others? Or do you have a full reservation on "being hurt"? Your blind accusations - without evidence make you as bad as the person you accuse because you are acting irrationally. I am a thick skinned individual, hoiwever I ask you and any other poster on this board to consider the consequences of your actions. If I was a new victim of the Witnesses and this was my first few posts - and now sudddenly I was being attacked, I would be inclined to believe this place is worse than the Witnesses. Luckily for you I am not, but please be more sensitive and less lose with accusations in the future.
