  You have to pity them

  when you encounter a jw who doesnt know you, do you tell them you are an ex?

  or pretend otherwise?.

  last night we were understaffed at work so had to call in an agency worker, i had to leave her in charge of 4 adults with autism while i did the rounds on call, every so often i called back to make sure she was coping ok. we got on well, chatted away and then at about 5am she starts witnessing to me...i end up coming home with 5 magazines..lol, she "placed" them with me.. i didnt want to tell her i was an exjw as it would have ruined the working relationship and made her feel uncomfortable.

  Want some good advice from experience ? I would not tell her that your an ex because the minute you do they through up red flags and don`t even give you the time of day. It`s fuuny how it works because if your just the average person next door they do listen but the second your an ex Oh !!!!! they never listen to a single thing you have to say and they do anything and everything they can to avoid you. So I personally think that if you want to get your message across don`t tell her any of your experience in their stinkin lyin religion.

  SOJ, I feel sorry for you because you show your true colors here with your angry and evil words. I think you are a very confused person. I also know that if your elders knew you were here in this group you would be disfellowshipped. You also know that. So I think you should dig way deep inside your heart and your mind and figure out why your really here. Anyone of us would be more than glad to calmly share the real truth with you but you need to want to know what that truth is. Let me tell you friend what you are protecting is a lie and a very evil faith. Pull your ass out of the gutter because all your doing now is digging your grave even a little deeper.   Does the Watchtower has a suggestive (quota) on how much you should donate?

  with a possible fall out in the financial area, the watchtower "could" (probaly won't) be in for some hard financial times.. with all the new fancy building, printing presses, halls etc, etc, etc.. now, i haven't been to a meeting in 15 years, i don't remember back then, but is there "an unwritten rule" (10% of your check) about how much money you should give to the wts.

  that the congregation kind of follows ??????????.

  do you think the watchtower will lower themselves more and ask people to start giving more ????

  I remember one time I was ordering like a dozen watchtowers and awakes every 2 weeks and a elder seen how many I was getting, He came up to me and said that I was going to have to pay 0.25 cents for each one of those magazines so you know what I did ? I handed them all to him and said here now you have to pay for them and walked away. hahahahaha

  We helped a boy in a car crash last night...made us think about things

  last night we were coming home from a night of dancing,and came upon a really bad wreck, a young man, had flipped his jeep, several times and his car was on fire.

  we must have just missed the wreck, because there were two cars there that saw it and they didnt know what to do......i told my hubby as we stopped to see if anyone had called 911 yet, and asked him to ask if anyone needed first aid.

  i am not in the medical field but i know enough first aid to help until the emt arrived.

  There is always a reason for where we are and what we do, but itis what we do with the time and the place that means something. Im sure that young man will never forget you folks for your comfort and help. And I believe that God will not ever forget that either. It sure warms my heart when I hear about people helping others when in the time of need as I have seen myself of people in need and being passed right up and this was done by several JW`s. God loves you for helping that boy and so do I lyin eyes.....

  I`m just glad I`m not one of those baptized into that religion, Oh I`m a believer in Christ and have been baptized but baptized in the father, the Son and the Holy Ghost not the Father, Son and the watchtower society. AMEN !!!!!brother BEN....

  What's The Worst Thing a "Friend" Could Ever Do To You?

  This is a question I have been waiting for, for a long time. I had a friend who is disfellowshipped, his wife is still a JW. For years of our friendship the JW`s tried and tried to break up our friendship, but we were pretty tight as good buds go. We were both baptized in a baptist church together, we golfed every chance we got, we fished together and almost anything we did outside of our jobs and our families we paled around. Very tight ! I thought !

  After pounding the fact that dateline was airing a show about JW`s molesting children into my JW mother and interfering with my JW mothers studing with my brother they decided to turn the table on me and make me to be the child predator. They went to my friends wife and to him, someone that they are not even supposed to speak to and told him a bunch of made up lies about me. His wife said he (me) is not allowed in my house again and so being he has not ever spoken to me again. I don`t kow if any of you know how it hurts to loose a good friend like that but he was my best friend in the whole world. He is a poster here too and all of you know him, I will not say who he is because even out of all of this I still think of him as a brother and a friend. I don`t know if I can ever overcome the loss of my friend it almost feels like he has died. I can only say that I pray for him and hope that someday something will change.

  Its just too bad that the dubs don`t know the real Christ and what his true teaching is which is Love and forgiveness, and I hope that my love and forgiveness will bring my friend back.........God Bless you my FRIEND I miss you very much !!!!!

  What weird habits do you have?

  i always go to bed naked, even in the winter.

  i eat at odd hours, whenever i'm hungry, and that happens fast.

  breakfast at 6:30am, dinner at 10:15 am (i'm hungry) supper at 3:30 pm (still hungry).

  I think it all depends on where we put our faith. I can not seem to fathom that this life is all in vain for nothing more than to live a few years and then nothing. No there has to be a reason for life and a reason for death. I on the other hand put my faith in Christ and know I will be in Heaven. Thank you very much Jesus.....For saving my soul
